"Hey darlin'. You're looking good as usual." Cid said crossing his arms. It always surprised you to see Cid in formal wear, only because he looked so out of place. He was wearing his entire suit with a navy blue tie and his blazer was open in the front.

"Cid." You smiled and wrapped your arms around him tightly. He chuckled and returned the hug.

"You've been MIA lately. I barely get to see you." Cid commented. He took a step back and cupped your face with his hands.

"It's just because of I've been working on the wedding."

"Well it looks amazin'. Good job sweetheart." He said keeping his eyes focused on you. His eyes noticed the bouquet in your hand. "Well look there."

You blushed as you realized what he was talking about. "Yuffie made me play. I just wanted some came but..."

He chuckled and let go of your face, then pressed his lips on your forehead. You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Have you ever thought about getting married Cid?" You asked curiously.

"Of course silly. Have you?"

You shrugged, "Well I guess. I couldn't help but think about it as I helped plan the wedding."

"Good." He gave you a sly smile. "That's good to hear."

"What do you mean?" You curiously asked.

"Well it's nice to know you're interested in getting married. It'd be downright silly if I asked you and you weren't."

"Ask m-me?"

Cid laughed, "Of course. After everything that's happened [Name], I can't believe you don't see it. I can't live without you sweetheart."

A small smile lit your face at his words. He wrapped his arms around you. A lifetime with Cid? It sounded almost go good to be true.

"I love you." You said leaning into his side.

"Love you darlin'. Love you too."
