"Congratulations." Cloud smiled with his arms crossed across his chest. His suit jacket was gone, so all he wore was his shirt, tie, and dress pants.
"On what?" You asked curiously.
"The wedding."
You frowned, "You saw the Vanitas thing? I can't believe he proposed to me. How that jerk is related to Sora and Leon I'll never know."
Cloud scrubbed his eyebrows up in confusion. He thought for a minute before replying, "What are you talking about? I meant congrats on planning the wedding. It turned out nice."
You blushed, "O-Oh...really?"
Cloud smirked, "Yeah but I'm curious about this Vanitas story now."
You groaned and rolled your eyes. You told him the stor and how he proposed to you in front of a crowd with Gabe's ring. In response Cloud laughed heartily.
"Yeah, yeah. So funny." You shook your head and crossed your arms. The bouquet was still in your hands.
"Huh you caught the bouquet too." Cloud's grin grew. Another blush coated your cheeks as you nodded.
"Yuffie sorta forced me into it."
Cloud thought for a moment, "You know. If I had to choose my beat men right now I'd probably say Leon, Auron, and Cid. Maybe even Angeal too, or Zack. But I wonder...do you think they'd even want to be my best men?"
"Of course they would. They're your friends Cloud." You argued.
"Yeah, but I plan on marrying you and they might not agree to that." Cloud replied simply. You stared at him blankly for a moment.
"Marry me?"
Cloud laughed lightly, "I mean in the future. Obviously I'm not going to drag you to a church or court house tomorrow, but one day..."
You thought about it. A lifetime with Cloud? It sounded to good to be true honestly. You stepped forward and wrapped your arms around his torso. He returned the hug and leaned his head on top of yours.
"Love you Cloud."
Cloud tilted your chin and pressed his lips softly against yours, "Love you too [Name]."
