"Come on, I want to know what is going on." Brandon whined at me for the umpteenth time. I chuckle and shake my head at him. We are currently in the diner waiting for Michael.

"I told you, you have to wait for Michael." I look at my watch, we were a little early. "He will be here soon."

I was annoyed at first that Brian had basically set everything up so I always had a guard of some sort with me. I felt like a fucking invalid, like I can't take care myself. I guess history shows I can't.

Brandon was pretty cool to spend time with. He and I have become almost like brothers over the past two weeks. He is a serious Rager, and nerd in general for comics, so he fit right in with Michael and I.

"Shit, am I late?" Michael come over and slides in next to me. "I got held up at the store and lost track of time."

"No your fine. Did you finish?" He nods and pulls my leather folder case from his messenger bag. I open it and look over the mock ups for the new issue of Rage. "There perfect, ok let's do this."

I turn to Brandon and slide over the folder. He opens it slowly looking between Michael and me. He smiles and laughs as he reads through the comic sheets. "This is awesome. Is this the new issue? I really like the new character Dune,he is funny. Brian wasn't lying when he said you base this off of your lives."

I smile to Michael. He looks at Brandon. "So you like Dune. There isn't anything you would change about him." I laugh at the not so subtle implication in Michael's voice.

"What do you mean?" Brandon says clearly confused. "No, he seems fine. He looks good, the bun is actually kinda funny and hot in a way... wait?" His face lights up as he scans the pages. "Dune is brought in by Rage to be JT's body guard. Is... is this me?"

Michael and I both nod together and I seriously don't think Brandon could smile any bigger. "That is awesome, I can not believe you put me in Rage. I am... I'm... I don't even know what to say."

I laugh, "look you have been great with all of this craziness and I know Brian is beyond grateful for your help. Even if he will never admit it and so am I. You have become like another brother to me, just like the rest of the group."

"I love this." Brandon whispers as he looks over the comic. I look at my watch and see I need to get back to work.

"Hey Brandon, I need to head back." He nods and gets up to follow me. Michael moves so I can get up. I stop dead at the sight of my ass hole father. "What do you want Craig?" I feel Brandon at my back standing close.

"I need to speak with you. It is really important." He looks tired and somewhat sick like he is just getting over the flu or something. I go to move to leave the diner and Craig grabs my arm. "Please Justin."

I take a deep breath and look to Brandon and Michael. Michael shrugs his shoulders and Brandon shakes his head slightly, telling me no. Seriously, didn't Brian worn him that telling me no only makes me want to do something more.

"I have to get back to work, it is only around the corner. Walk with me and we will talk there." He gives me a natural smile, no real warmth or affection in it. I turn and hug Michael, "Give me a little time before you tell him. I want to know what this is about."

He pulls back and raises his hand in surrender. "I am staying out of it." I smile and look to Brandon.

He hugs me, "I will stay back out of sight but I will still be watching." I nod into his shoulder and pull away and walk out of the diner, my father following me.

"Is that your boyfriend?" I just ignore him, there was way to much disgust in his voice.
