A formal love story, with a twist.

Two 18-year-old boys come face-to-face with the terrifying slurs and harsh threats society throws their way. Just because these particular two boys love each other in a way that isn't considered normal. Society brainwashed them and humanity to think that they're not normal. And that's what goes through these boys' minds - the want to be normal. They soon discover that they can't seem to reach the point of being normal. They love the thought of being accepted and not having to be identified as homosexuals.

The only way to converse for the two of them without being judged is by their corny love letters to each other. They're surrounded by all these lies, and people who talk too much. But when they're together, the voices fade away. Cause all that they are, are all that they'll ever need.

⚠️ must read - i will refrain from putting notes, usually, but please read this bit. reminding you this is an alternate universe story. 5sos does not exist. taking place in 1994, during the time society wouldn't accept people within the lgtbq community. both luke hemmings and ashton irwin will be 18, both being birthed in 1976. this story expresses the way the boys communicate and their feelings, with pain and suffering. i write this story with how i believe homosexuals were treated at the time, i am not a victim and don't have the exact knowledge to exactly portray how anybody truly felt. i don't mean to disrespect anybody with this book, i respect the lgtbq community. if anything in this book offends anybody in any way, please inform me about the situation. also the photo attached is to be credited to our fav jon hoeg.
