"Wake up Princess! Your phone is going off!" Jax yelled. He's lucky we are in a car and he is driving. In a normal circumstance I would have slapped him silly!

"Just answer it!" I yelled back. I was in the back seat working on reading this book. We needed information.

"But it's your mother!"

"Crap!! Okay just ignore it! After this we are going to turn my phone off! We'll keep your yours on until we get a call from yours. Understand?" I panicked. First of all, my mother never calls me unless it's important. Second of all, they should even notice we're gone! I ran away for a week and they didn't notice until I got back home with my bags! And lastly, my snitch of a sister probably has something to do with this!

"Wow are you some kind of a detective?" Jax teased. He knows I've always wanted to be a detective. I wanted to profile crime scenes and catch the killer!

"Hey Jax?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you please shut up. I'm trying to read!"

I saw him roll his eyes in the review mirror. "Okay sweetie I'll leave you to your geekiness." My cheeks flushed red. I don't think he even noticed that he called me sweetie. I laid down in the back seat holding the book at an angle. And lost myself in the words ... Prince Vladimir was rather an ambitious son. He had a heart carved from fine gold. He was a kind soul. But he wanted to be free. His father and mother, the King and Queen, wished for him to marry and take over the kingdom. Prince Vladimir wasn't ready, as they say. He wanted his days in the sun, adventuring in the great wild world, taming wild beast, but his father was persistent in his son finding a lover.

I again opened the front cover of the book finding something interesting. The inside cover looked like it had paper over it. I carefully peeled it off. Underneath it was a message in I assume was Latin.

"Hey Jax let me borrow your phone." I demanded. He nodded so I took that as an okay so I grabbed his phone and wrote the message in the google engine.

Per meum invenire mater in fabulis means ... Find me through your mother's stories. At lease that's what google translator says.

My mother's stories? "Jax the front cover was hidden. Underneath it said find me through your mother's stories in Latin. What can that mean?" I asked.

Jax sighed, "Well you said it yourself that your parents met in New Jersey. How would you know that if your mother didn't tell you. And we're going to New Jersey first right?" Jax pointed out.

"Okay well I guess I'm gonna have to remember those stories." I mumbled.

"Good well why don't you just tell me those stories." Jax said.

I rolled my eyes. "You'd like that wouldn't you." Jax chuckled but nodded anyway. "Okay well ... my mom always told me that she met my dad by chance."

"By chance huh? Isn't that a little cliche?" Jax asked.

"Yeah it's a little cliche but true. My mom was going to work. Her alarm clock didn't go off so she was running late. She told me she didn't care what she looked like she just had to get there. She told me she was speeding all the way to work. When she got out her waitress dress got stuck in the car. She dropped everything and ripped her dress out of the car door and took of running for the door." I started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Jax chuckled.

"She dropped all of her things on my dad when she was running to the door. She bumped into him and made him drop his coffee all over himself." I laughed. Jax started to laugh his boasting loud one. "He grabbed her before she could fall and hit the ground. I know, very romantic sitcom cliche of them, but it was beautiful. My mom told me that his eyes shined like the ocean. That's where I get my blue eyes from."
