Jax's POV(!!!!!)(Oh My Goodness!)
Phee scared me so much! I though she was seriously hurt! Thank goodness she's okay! And luckily I had her asthma inhaler with me! She hasn't had an attack since she was younger but I was with her and it really had me scared. Ever since then I carry it with me since I'm with her ninety percent of the time.
I wonder what she'd want to eat when she wakes up. I know she'll be hungry when she wakes but I don't know what to get. It needs to be something close and nothing expensive. Something fast but filling. I could go to the cafe and get a to go order. I quickly walk to the cafe from this morning. I don't see Genevieve though. I walked up to the counter and asked for a to go order of two orders of cheeseburgers and fries. The counter lady took my order and told me to sit and wait. So I sat. But I was interrupted when two girls, yes, as in literal children starts to poke out their chest and twirl their hair while sitting down across from me. I really don't understand why girls and guys try to do things like that especially at our age. We're young.
And yes I'm a hypocrite and all when it comes to Phoenix but it's different. I knew I had to be friends with her the first time I met her.
Anyway, the blond girl says, " hi we could help but notice you look new to the area."
"Yeah, is it your first time visiting up in the north?" The other girl, a brunette asked.
"Um yeah I'm visiting." I answered them.
She giggled. "Would you like some company?" They asked just as the nice counter lady had brought my to go order.
"Is this for that sweet girl you brought in here earlier?" The nice lady asked smirking at the two girls.
"Yeah she's not feeling well so I told her to just rest while I pick up lunch." I answered.
"Wait you have a girlfriend?!" The brunette asked with a high voice.
"Yeah he does. She's a beautiful girl. And much OLDER." She said playing with the girls. I wasn't going to deny it. Why should I? Phee would have just played along anyway.
"Ugh jerk." The blind said getting up with the brunette leaving the cafe.
"Thanks." Jax said. "For you know those girls."
"Eh no problem. Those girls look to young to be looking for some guys. What are you? Eighteen?" She asked.
"Almost. I'm seventeen." I answered.
"And Genevieve's friend? Phoenix? She's seventeen right? I remember her mother."
"Yeah well I better get going." I say.
She chuckles. "This is very weird I'm sorry. Well you better get going. Bye." She said waving me out. I quickly grabbed the food and hurried to bring Phee food.
When I reached the room I unlocked the door and found Phoenix sitting on the bed fully covered by a blanket. Once she saw me she threw the blanket off and grabbed the bags out of my hand.
"Sit with me." She ordered. I chuckled at her but obliged. She laid her head on my shoulder while I held her.
"What's wrong Phee?" I asked. She seemed fine before I left. What could have happened between the short time I was gone.
"Nothing." She answered.
"Phoenix-"
"Jax I think this was a mistake."
