First Time

The Fight

Maya's pov

I was at Riley's house she was going on about something. She shot upward and gasped, "how was your date?" She said touching my knee.

"It was great," I said and it truly was.

"It wasn't awkward with Farkle there?" she asks, with a big smile on her face.

"And how would you know about that?" I say already knowing the answer.

"Well" she stretched. "I kinda maybe might have convinced Lucas that it would be a good idea for him to tag along."

Riley," I say sternly.

"What?" She plays innocent.

"I don't need your help riley"

"I just don't want you to use lucas"

"I'm not using lucas!" I almost shout.

"Do you like still Farkle!?" She shouts back.

"No!" I shout back in anger. I don't know if I still like Farkle or not so I can't tell you if it was a lie or not.

"Do you like lucas?!"

"I don't know," I don't shout this time and I was being completely honest. Lucas is a nice, great guy but I had such strong feelings for Farkle I don't know if I can get over him that fast.

"Maya, you can tell me the truth."

"Can I riley?!" I don't know why but I got defensive. I guess I seriously can't talk about my feelings. "Because I don't know if I can trust you!" She scoffed and had a defensive expression.

"I mean you might go off and tell your dad! Or worse make a plan that would some how make my life better! Guess what riley it's not! I can handle myself!" I get up and storm out the window.

Riley's pov

And just like that she was gone. I don't understand what's going on with her. She must really be having some problems. I know she doesn't want me to help but I can't help it. I have to help her in any way I can.

why is Maya acting like that? Will this fight between Riley and Maya be a big problem? Does Riley have a plan? Is Maya better off without Farkle?
