First Time

make ups and break ups

Maya's pov

I skipped school on Friday, I couldn't face Lucas. I can't hurt him, but I love Farkle. This is one of the hardest things I've ever done. I was on the subway, I had to get out of the house. The subway comes to a screeching stop the door opens and people get on. One of them being Lucas, oh no I have to tell him now, he walks over to me.

"Are you feeling better?" He asks.  I told him I was sick on Friday.

"Uh yeah a little bit."

    "That's good," he sits down next to me.

We sit in silence for a few seconds while I try to find the words to tell him. 

"Lucas?" I look up at him.

"Yeah?" he asks confused.

"I don't know how to say this."

"You can tell me anything Maya." He says with complete seriousness.

"I kissed Farkle." I say quietly.

"Oh," He says heartbroken. "You love him don't you?"

"You had to know this wouldn't last forever."

"I know," he still sounded heartbroken.

"I'm really sorry."

    "I know"

"And Lucas?" I say.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for helping me through this hard time."

"Of course, what are friends for?"  We hugged and I got up and left. He was truly the greatest friend you could ever have.

Farkle's Pov

I was redoing my room when I heard my phone ding, it was Maya. Meet me in the wood in 10. I dropped my cloths that I was holding on the floor. Why did maya want to talk to me where all of this started?

Maya's Pov

I was waiting by the tree where we first kissed. I looked at my phone, I told Farkle to meet me at 3, it's 3:10 and Farkles never late. What if he's not coming? What if I get humiliated again. "Maya!" I hear a voice behind me I turn around fast.

"Farkle," I say quickly turning around. He comes running towards me, all sweaty and his hair messed up, he was hot anyway

"What did you want?" I didn't let him finish, I kissed him, right on the lips. It was amazing sparks flew. He was holding my waist and I had my hand on his face. I pull away. I don't know how long we were kissing. My hand was still touching his smooth skin. "Wha?"

"I thought it was my turn to interrupt you while you were talking." we both smiled.

"I love you Maya Hart," We were still extremely close.

"And I love you Farkle minkus," I giggle and we kiss again. Farkle was the one. It was the first time in my life that I was sure of anything.

Around the same time

Riley's Pov

I saw Lucas on the subway looking sad. Maya must have just dumped him.

"Hey," I walk up to him not all excited like I usually do.

"Hey," he says barely looking up at me.

I sit down and say," what's wrong?" I already knew but he needed to tell me.

"Maya just broke up with me." I already knew but the look on his face crushed me.

"I'm really sorry Lucas."

"Thanks," he looks up at me with a small smile. He's so cute, even that smile made me melt. I feel bad for thinking about this at this moment but I couldn't help myself I like Lucas.

"But hey at least this frees up more time for you to study to be a vet right?"

He real smiles at this and giggles, "Yeah Riley you're right." I giggle. I knew everything about lucas he's my farkle, and I'm his maya, best friends that meant for each other we just haven't gotten as far as they have. "Hey riley"

"Yeah?"

"Let's go do something fun."

I smile shined on my face, "I would love that lucas." We get up and have the time of our life.
