True Magic prt 9

I put the book down on my bed and walked over to my window. I looked up at the half full moon and thought about the past 3 weeks. Seth had taught me how to get my powers to work under my command and a couple of spells like bringing leaves back to life after making them brown. My dad came back and we started to talk again but yesterday he left again and would be back by next week. Seth and I have become good friends but I think hes not telling me something. Oh well, I walked over to my dresser and and noticed how my room was boiling hot, grrrr I hate when it gets this hot ,I grabbed my phone and texted Seth : hey. I waited a few seconds and heard my phone beep I looked to see I got a new text : hey, wats up?. I wrote: nothing, r we meeting up tommorow?. A few seconds : yes at 1,remember!. I smiled and put my phone down. I walked over to my bed and kneeled beside it and lifted up the loose floorboard, I grabbed the smooth neon purple writing journal from the small space and put the board back. I got up and sat on my soft bed and undid the small silver clasp on the side of the journal. My spell journal. I flipped through the pages and saw the spells I had written from books and from Seth. Seth. I dont know why but I get this weird but nice feeling whenever I say his name. I flipped to a page of my journal and it said GUARDIAN ANIMAL I read the page and it was supposed to make finding you guardian animal easier. I looked at it but decided to wait until I was with seth to try out this or any other spells, it kinda scared me to think of doing a spell by myself or mess up and something bad happen I quess I felt safer doing one with seth there to keep it under control. Which is odd considering I do everything for myself and by myself. I sighed and put the lock back on my journal and got down and lifted up the floor board and put it in. I closed the floor board and stood up, I was too excited about seeing Seth tommorow that I dont think I could sleep. I walked out of my room and into the hallway which was extremly cold for a Summer night and it was weird because of my room being so hot, I shivered and wished I wasnt wearing a pair of light blue jean shorts and a navy blue t. I walked across the hallway until I got to the stairs and walked down them slowly until I reached the bottom. It was even colder down there! I walked into my tan living room and felt the temperature drop even more. I stopped in the middle of the room and the floor felt like it was made of pure ice. Something wasnt right and I knew it. I hugged myself tighly and walked back into the kitchen and saw that a flower in a clear vase of water had frozen. I walked over to it and touched the glass and realized that the ice was solid. This was not good. The temperature kept dropping and I kept shivering and knew I had to get out or be frozen to death. I walked as fast as my numb legs could go over to the front door and tried to undo the lock I had put on the inside but my fingers were too cold. This was not good. I started to turn around in panick and went up the stairs as fast as I could manage and went straight to my room. I grabbed my phone and attempted to text Seth because i knew i couldnt talk. I numbly found his name in my contacts and text: help now. and waited. I walked over to my bed and put the blankets around me and waited in the freezing cold.

Seths P.O.V.

I was sitting on my couch watching some sports game I couldnt pay attention to. My thoughts drifted to only one thing. Lili. She was so beautiful that it killed me. Her eyes, the most beautiful of greens and her smile. Wow. What am i saying. Im just here to train and prepare Lili for the magical world, I dont care about her or what she looks like, I cant. Suddenly my phone beeps I look at it and it says new text from Lili I open it and see HELP NOW. I was confused but worried, what could she have done? Well what couldnt she have done shes a young witch who cant fully control her powers. I got up and neglected to put on shoes and I ran out the door wearing a black t and long jean shorts that just ened below my knees. i felt the warm air hit me and I started running but I needed to get there now so I thought of a teleporting spell in my my and focused. I shut my eyes tightly and felt my body go air born and then touch the ground. I opened my eyes and i was on her front porch, I knocked on her white door which was suprisingly cold and got no answer. I knocked again. No answer. I tried to open the door and noticed that the handle was freezing but the door was locked. I shut my eyes and heard a sound like chains falling and opened my eyes and flew open the door. It was ice cold. I ran in and felt the icey floor on my bare feet and looked around to see frost forming every where. I started running up the stairs worried, " Lili"!? I yelled as I got to her room and opened the door and froze myself in shock.
