I let that sink in. There were other witches and some were here in Rose Town. I stared across his room at his blank and dark wall. " Lili"? he asked and waited for me to respond. " What are they doing here"? I asked in whispery voice. " I dont know but Im going to figure out soon". I quickly turned my head to him and looked into his eyes. " Soon"? I asked. He sighed then smiled " Of coarse, Im going to visit them today". " What"?! I yelled. " You just said some witches are phycos that go around and kill others for power"! I yelled as his lips turned up into a grin. " Well yes" he said while trying to conceal a laugh. I was getting angry and looked away from him. He turned my face toward him still trying not to laugh " Well even mortals kill each other for power, and knowing that lets say you get a new neighboor, would you avoid and be scared by them"? he asked still smiling but more gently. I thought about and realized he was right.... sorta. " yeah but mortals dont have magic powers" I mumbled. He just smiled more. " So any questions"? he asked excitedly. " How am i a witch"? I asked. His face got more serious. " Well witches arnt created there born witches", I thought about it. " But my dad is certainly not a witch" I said. His face got a little depressed looking and I didnt know why. My thoughts raced and realized 'could my mother of been a wich'? Impossible. " My.... mother"? I whispered and turned away from his gaze. But why would he react like that? did he know about my mother? but ive known him for only about a day now. I looked up at his soft expression. "yes". he said. " B-but how do you know"? I asked. " I knew her". he stated. WHAT! my mind yelled. "how? my mother died 6 years ago"? I thought about it and I was only ten then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He sighed. " Im immortal Lili Ive been around for quite a while". I gasped. " What! how old are you"?! I asked in shock. " Im 16 on the outside but Im real around mmmm 160 years old"? he stated. " What!? " Calm down Lili"! he almost yelled as he put his hand on my face, which he seemed to do a little too much might I add, " Ill explain everything, I promise". I stared into his eyes and waited as he dropped his hand and sighed, taking in a deep breath. " Well I was raised in North Carolina and lived with my parents, Milinda and Robert. We werent the richest family but a happy one. Everything was good until about a month after my 16th birthday. I was working on my familys farm and it was so hot i couldnt bere it. So I focused hard and before I knew it, it was snowing in August. I didnt know what had happened and realized it was only on the farm. I was confused so I ran and never looked back." he said looking into my eyes. " But what about my mother"? I asked." well after a while I noticed I wasnt aging which confused me more until I came across a small town in Massachusetts. I found a women that was healing childeren that were illl or injured. She told me what I was and we became good friends. As time moved on we moved away from each other but still stayed in touch. This might suprise you but I was at her wedding and when you were born." That was alot to take in but questions buzzed through my mind, " You said that witches are born witches so how did you not know until you were 16"? "Well a witches powers dont fully develope until around that age." "You also said that you didnt age so how did my mother age? and since witches are immortal how did she... die"? " Well she aged because she was much older than me and actually she was one of the first witches and even we age over that long amount of time. And even though age makes a witches powers increase in strength it must have weakened her and made her vulnerable." he said but he said the second part as if it wasnt the whole story but I let it go, I dont think I could handle anything else. " So do you want to know anything else before we start using our powers"? he asked. One question popped up in my head. " Why are you helping me"? he thought about it. " Well your mother and I stayed in touch and she knew you would one day have powers and she asked me to help and watch over you if she was ever not around." We walked out of his room and into the entertainment room. " Whats with all of this, well how do you afford it"? I asked. He smiled slightly " its true magic my friend". he stated " Im serious" I said. " So am I" he said as we headed out the front door. " Dont you ever you know get lonely"? I asked. "Not really" he said and called Thunder Bolt. Thunder Bolt ran to be by his side as Seth pet his back. Seth walked down the porch steps as me and Thunder Bolt followed. " Where are we going"? I asked. " To do spells" he said. We were headed to the circle place where he does magic and a question came to me. " What happened the day I met you"? I asked as we entered the woods. " I never did say sorry for that did I? well when I realized you were there i didnt know who you were and i needed to know what you saw. I read your mind and somehow you used your powers to stop me." he said, but I still didnt know what else happened. " What happened after i passed out I meant because I remember my back hurting and arm"? I asked. " Well when somone reads your mind it makes you quite dizzy so I followed you and... heard you scream. When i found you I knew you were hurt so I used my powers to heal you and brought you home" he said. " How did you know where I lived"? " Well I heard you had moved in and I thought about where Ive seen such a green color in someones eyes and knew" he said. " Thank you" I said in almost a whisper. He turned his head to look at me and smile " No problem, so lets get started" he said as he stopped and I realized that we were there. " I have to warn you though, this isnt going to be easy" he said smiling as he turned to face me.
