BEING EVA

Chapter 27

During our trip in the limo neither Richard nor I said much. We were in a comfortable silence, with me lying in his arms. His finger trailed up and down my upper arm causing me to have goosebumps. My mind was still working through all the possible outcomes of each direction I could possibly take. And in each one I loose him, but in only one I get to keep him and I get to test how our relationship might be, to see if there will be a fairy tale ending and or of it will all explode and fade leaving me broken again and alone.

"Eva, sweetheart we are here" Richard said squeezing my arm and kissing the top of my head. Looking up to him I smile, he makes me whole again.

"Where is here?" no knowing where we are as I zoned out.

"Your mind must've kept you quite busy if you didn't even hear my conversation with the driver" he smiles down at me as if he knew exactly what my thoughts were" but to answer your question, we are at the Four seasons hotel I booked for us to stay here tonight" he answered. "Now come on pregnant fairy lets get you settled."

We walked through the foyer to the front desk. " Good afternoon Dr Patterson haven't seen you around in awhile. Welcome back, I prepared you normal suite for you. Will you have any guests tonight?" He asked eying me up and down like I was dragged in by the street cat.

"Afternoon Gary, and yes my fiance will be joining me for the duration of my stay" Richard says as he pulls me into his side. And what is it with him telling everyone that I'm his fiance.

"Welcome Ms I hope you enjoy your stay with us at the Four seasons. Dr Patterson the bell boy will assist with your luggage. Here is two key cards"

"Thank you Gary" and with that Richard leads me towards the elevator.

"Very well known if you ask me Dr Patterson" I say giggling.

"Are you mocking me Ms White? Because if you are I will have to make a example of you by teaching not to mock me" he said all serious pinching my buttocks. Sending electrifying sensations down my spine that cause Delrick to kick the living day lights out of me. The blow he gave me made my knees buckle. Making me giggle and giving Richard a small stroke.

"Eva don't mock me like that. Next time its real then I play it off" now he is scolding me like a four year old.

"Sorry Dr" I say making puppy eyes up a him. That earned me a light slap on the ass that made me giggle. The elevator arrived and we rode way up to our floor which was the top floor might I add, he held me close in his arms. It was almost like he knew what was running through my mind. The elevator doors open and the bell boy steps aside for us. Taking my had Richard guides me to two huge wooden doors at the end of the passage. Looking down at me he smile.

"You make me a very happy man Ms White." still mulling over his words and the meaning behind it I didn't even notice that we were standing in the foyer of what I presume must be the pent house. Before I could react to his statement he started talking.

"Now I have heard the pregnant women gets pregnancy brains, what that means I have no clue but if you have it, it must be all the getting lost in your own thoughts. Anyway this will be our suite for the duration of our stay, it has two bedrooms so no pressure." starting to move forward he signals me to follow and continues. "This is the lounge, the door to your right is the main suite which you can have and the door to your left is the second suite where I will be staying, and as obvious a day light this is the kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom."

"This is way to much Richard a normal suite would have done. But thank you. Now would you mind if I took a rest before we went back to visit Clarissa this day has been very draining." I ask looking up to him.
