Colton steps out of the limo first and all you hear is the screams of his female fans. Who blames them he is single and god’s gift to woman. Colton extends his hand inside the limo and Claressa takes it first, as soon as she steps out there is a loud roar of ‘boos’ Claressa being Claressa doesn't let anything wait on her, she grabs Colton around the neck and gives him a very loud and very wet smooch in front of the crowd. I think I heard a few comments like “you bitch”, “We will kill you” and so on but Claressa just turns waves and smiles. Colton extends his hand in again and Alice accompanied by Leigh gets out. Now the cheerleaders are well aware that these girls are the brown sibling so they keep the cocky comments to themselves. Alice and Leigh smiles and waves as they step aside to join Claressa, who is smiling like a cat that caught a canary. Colton extends his hand in to the limo again to help me out. But before I get out he bends down and whispers "play along” and winks at me. His has something up his sleeve and I don’t think I am going to like it. As I step out of the limo Colton takes me in his arms and bends me backward, before I can protest his lips is on mine and he is kissing me passionately. I did not expect this at all. But I won’t complain it nice to rub this in the cheerleaders face.
As soon as Colton lets me breath and helps me back up I hug him and whisper in his ear “You my dear friend will have double the trouble from me tonight for the stunt you just pulled” I step back and smile at him, he grins back at me like he know something I don’t. As soon as I turn around I see Claressa glaring at me. O my word if looks could kill I would be dead right now. Alice and Leigh are giggling behind their fists, like they know exactly what Colton’s plan was. I shake my head and turn to walk inside the Hotel. As I enter the hotel I take the coridor to the left to check on the progress of the catering crew. The corridor is long and the walls are painted a dark stone colour. For me to reach the kitchen I need to make two turns. As I reach the dead end I make a left, the walk from the entrance to the kitchen is actually quite far. I am so in tought with what still needs to be done that i never notice that there is someone els in the coridor. All of a sudden it feels like I am walking into a brick wall.
“Slow down love you will fall and break something” I hear this deep, sexy voice and I realise I walked into a person and not into a wall. I slowly look up and the first thing I notice is the piercing blue eyes staring at me. OMW this man has the bluest eyes I have ever seen.
“Sor……Sorry” I stumble over my words. I take two steps back and compose myself, when I look up I see for the first time, who I bumped into. Mark Drew the sponsor of tonight’s event as well as the man who appointed us. O and don’t forget he is one of the members of this so called ‘Playboy Club’ that the twins referred to.
“Ms Walker are you alright it looks like you’ve seen a ghost” Mark asks me as he places his hand on my shoulder. As soon as his skin comes in contact with mine I feel this electric shock through my body and take a quick step back.
“I ….. I’m fine Mr. Drew thank you for your concern.” I start making a move to walk away but his deep voice stops me in my tracks.
“Please call me Mark, Ms Walker no need for the formailties. Can I escort you to the ball room?"
"Yes thank you M... Mark and please call me Eva." I say with a shy smile. He sure is one hot male specimen if you ask me. I blush at my train of thoughts and when I look up is see Mark staring at me.
"Penny for your thoughts Eva." he asks with a small trace of amusement.
"Just thinking about how handsome you are Mark" Oh no did I really just say that, please earth swollow me whole right now. I can feel my cheeks burning with embarecment.
"Why thank you Eva, I was just thinking the same thing. I haven't seen a lady as bueatiful as you in my life, may I ask you to be my plus one for the evening I would like to know you a bit better?" Every cell in body is screaming YES, YES but my mind is telling me NO this is a bad idea.
"Mmmm... I dont think that would be very wise Mark I am the event planner for the evening so I will be working." What is wrong with me why am I flirting with this man?
"Well Eva in that case you are fired." I gape at him. Did he just fire me?
"Excuse me Mark could you repeat what you just said please?"
"Sure I said you are fired" this arrogant bastard who gives him the right to just fire me. I am so angry. I glare at him ready to tell him exactly what i think of his arrogant behoviour when we get interupted.
"Ah here you are Evaline I have been looking all over for you." Colton wraps his arm around my waist and I smile at him. He gives me a strange look.
"What is wrong love, you look very upset?" Colton asks with a concerned voice. I turn my gaze back to Mr arrogant and see that his is boiling with anger. Good for you. I thought to myself.
"O hi mate, didn't notice you there, with this beuatiful lady in the room everything else is dull in comparison." I blush at Coltons comment but for me he is really starting to spread it a bit thik if you know what I mean.
"Evening Colton, and yes I would have to agree with you everytihing else in the room is dull in comparison." OMG are they seriously having a pissing contest and dont even belong to any of them.
"Please excuse me gentlemen I have a cab to catch." I say as I untangle myself from Colton.
"Eva why do you need a cab we just got here and the limo is availble if you need transport dear." What is it with Colton and all his endearments tonight?
"Sorry Colton it slipped my mind to inform you. But Mr Drew just fired me, so my serves is no longer needed tonight. Please say goodbye to the girls for me and tell them I will see them later." I move away from Colton before he can stop me. As I walk away I hear him yelling at Mark. "What the fuck is wrong with you man. That woman worked her ass off for this gig and you just up and fire her. That is seriously the lowest I have ever seen you go Mark the lowest." I walked quieker because I didn't want to hear what Mark was going to say in response. I reach the main entrance and ask the doorman to call me cab. With in seconds a cab stops and as I am about to get into the cab I hear someone calling my name. When I look up Colton is running to the cab. I jump in and tell the cabby to make a get away before Colton could reach the cab.
As soon as we pull away the tears starts running and I can't stop them. Come on Eva get it together, you did nothing wrong. You did a great job with the event. I instruck the cab driver to take me to club Destination 360. That is where we normally hang out.
