Could you be surprised
By the mist in our eyesIf you knew the truth
Behind what has been brewed?Daggers came from your lips
And with such agony we have been kissed. But the blood on our hands
Came from your veinal strands.Underestimated is the innocence in our iris,
But the closer we get, our thoughts pervade like a virus. You once had the power
But now things have turned sour; For our tongues have lit with fire
And we are igniting our own empire. There is a boy with strength in his head,
And there's a girl who can conquer the nasty things you once said.A leader has risen among those hurting
And we have gathered up arms against the evil lurking. No more suffering at the hands of those wishing to destroy
Because there is a new side who will once again bring joy.The ones who have been tossed and thrown
Will claim happiness as their own.Yes, redemption has finally awoken
And power has been given to those who have been broken.
