He had gazed upon man
And grew a fondness of them.
He wanted to undo the "dent in our pan"
For he saw us as precious gems.He was sent for a purpose,
One no human can ever achieve.
He was betrayed for coins
And he was treated like an infectious disease. But once he spoke the truth all around
And he exposed the liars and the hypocrites,
Injustice was soon to be found
Because the people desired to toss him in the "pit".He knew what he must do
In order to repay what Adam had lost.
Yes, Jesus was sent to teach the truth
And to die faithfully upon a post.He sacrificed himself so we may live.
He loved us so much he allowed this to happen.
This is the greatest gift anyone could ever give,
For he died and remained loyal to Jah, not Satan.Eternal life is to come upon us,
And we must rejoice in the undeserved kindness shown.
Jehovah has given us a beautiful trust
And that is to accept his love as our own.
