Ryan's POV

Surge, check.

Napkins, check.

Pizzaritos, check.

Picnic blanket, check.

Everything else, check.

I mentally check off all the items I'll be needing for my picnic date with Y/N. She just got back from India and I wanted to treat her today.

I pick up the picnic basket and wave Marley, Teddy, Olly and Roku goodbye. I walk out the door to perfect weather. I continue down the sidewalk until I make it to where I need to cross.

I look both ways and speed walk across the street to the park. Once I got there, I find a perfect spot to set the picnic up.

I soon find a place that was under the trees and had a perfect view of the lake.

I stand between the two trees and wait there patiently.

*5 minutes later*

There she is. I thought as she walked over to me with a smile. I bend down a little to give her a kiss as she steps on her tippy-toes.

I sit down and smooth out the part where Y/N sits as a joke. She giggles and sits down, opening the basket.

"Let's see what Chef Ryan has made." She jokes. Her mouth agapes as she sees what I've prepared.

"Oh, Ry, these are my favorites!" She exclaims as she pulls out a Pizzarito.

"I know, because I'm the best boyfriend evarrrrr!" I say while flipping my imaginary Regina-style short bob.

She giggles and unwraps the Pizzarito, trying not to spill any sauce on her. She fails miserably and begins to search for napkins.

I mentally laugh so she won't hit me in my ba-

"Ugh, fuck it." She mumbles under her breath.

I give her a shower of kisses until I see her smile. I knew I made her feel better.

After we finished eating and spilling Pizzarito sauce everywhere, we sit back and watch the sunset.

Everything was perfect...

...until I wake up to bright lights and doctors around me everywhere.
