Your POV

I look at all the bills that lie on the dining room table. I look at all the bills that have 'LATE' stamped onto them in big, red letters.

I was thinking about how I could come up with the money in such a short amount of time. I was snapped out of my thoughts by the front door closing, echoing throughout the house.

"I'm homeeee!" an all too familiar voice shouts. I remained angrily silent.

"I'm ho-" Ryan exclaims until he sees me boiling with anger.

"What's wrong?" He says edging closer towards me. I throw the stack of bills at Ryan's face as hard as I can.

"This! This is what I'm angry about! All of them, late, late, late! Ryan this is your half of the bills you have to pay!" I angrily roar at what stands in front of me.

"I.. I.." Ryan stutters. He couldn't even explain himself. I storm out of the dining room out of frustration and make my way up to our shared bedroom. I slam the door to the bedroom, signaling Ryan to sleep downstairs tonight.

I change into my pjs and lie down, being stuck with my thoughts.

What could possibly be stopping him from paying those bills? I've got to get to the bottom of this.

~Next Morning~

I wake up to the sun shining through the window. I hop out of bed and do my morning routine. Once that's finished, I go downstairs to see Ryan is already gone.

Perfect! I mentally exclaim and get to searching the house top and bottom. I go into Ryan's office to see if there is any proof in there.

Papers, pens, wedding ring boxes. Just boring stuff. Wait! Wedding ring boxes?

There was a red velvet one with gold lining and another that was royal blue with gold lining as well.

I open the boxes to see that they are both empty. I look into the red velvet one to see an engraving in it.

'I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old, I won't let go, Angie'

I felt as if my head was about to explode. That was just how angry I was at Ryan for having a double life.

Even though I was pissed off, my heart shattered into more than 1,000 pieces. I closed the box and turned Ryan's office upside down looking for more evidence. I found a locket with a picture of Ryan and what this Angie girl probably looks like.

She was the complete opposite of me. (Description of the opposite of your height, hair color, and skin tone).

I couldn't believe that I was just a side chick. Five years, down the drain. I ran upstairs to our room to see if there was anything else I could find. I started searching through Ryan's wardrobe, throwing all useless items to the side.

I was about to search the last drawer at the bottom, until I heard a car pull up into the driveway.

Shit! Ryan's home. The room was trashed with Ryan's clothes and other necessities. I got to throwing Ryan's clothes back into the drawers and sitting the colognes how they were as fast as I could, not caring about how they looked. I made my way downstairs as I heard the front door open, revealing no one but Ryan.
