The Start of Something New

Y/N POV

I was at the park playing Pokémon Go when I accidentally bumped into a muscular figure. I fell back and landed right on my butt.

"Oh, uh, I'm so sorry! A-Are you ok?" A familiar voice said.

That voice sounded so familiar.

"I think so. I just landed on my a-" I finally looked up to meet with his face. I couldn't believe my eyes. THEREALRYANHIGA?!? (Twitter blast! HAH)

Boy, I must've looked like an idiot. My mouth was wide open and I was still on my butt from when I fell.

He offered his hand out for me to grab to help me up. I gladly took it and was still in shock. I must've been staring because he then said-

"Helloooo? You still here orrr..?"

I felt so embarrassed. I was tryna build up confidence to speak but I don't think I gathered enough confidence. My words just came out as if I was trying to beatbox. "I-I'm here. It's j-just that I'm a h-huge-" That's when he cut me off.

"Haha. No need to introduce myself then. But if you don't mind, may I ask for your name?"

UF KOURSE YU CEN HAYVE MU NAYME. Was exactly what I was thinking. I was freaking out in my head, but I somehow managed to casually slip out my name like I had no problem.

"Y/n" I said with one of my cutest smiles. (which I don't think was cute at all, but he seemed to like it.) My heart was beating so hard it could be heard from a mile away. I noticed he was blushing as well and the next thing I knew it, five other voices were heard oohing. That must've been RHPC.

"Guys, shut up! You're embarrassing..." He said mumbling that last part.

We started to talk for a while. As time went by we forgot all about our game and we started feeling more comfortable around each other. During our conversation he said: "Would you like to give me your number?"

My heart skipped 1000 beats when he said that. I smiled and took his phone to type my number in. (Woah, that came off wrong. Sorry, made u sound aggressive. Lol) He texted me back and we continued our Pokémon Go adventure together.

Once again, RHPC was oohing again, but we ignored them. I also think they were following us, but we didn't care. The day started to come to an end and the moon was starting to show. We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

I guess you could say this was the start of something new.
