waking up the next morning
was not on calum's to do list. feeling michael's hot breathe touch his skin made him shiver. the air touching him felt muggy and everything felt all too hot.
the crippling feeling in the his stomach hasn't left since it arrived, and only grew bigger
with time.

calum sighed, pushing the feeling deep down with the rest. he picked up michael's wrist and unwrapped michael's arms from his body, and thanked god in his mind when michael did not wake or tighten his arms like usual. the younger boy stood up from the bed, shivering at the cold air.

calum walked to michael's drawer, searching through the messing things in search of a fuzzy pair of socks he knew michael had. he grinned seeing the black socks with 'green day' written all over in different styles. he slipped the socks over his feet and slipped his jeans before walking to the door, but a loud sigh made him freeze.

"where are you going, calum?" michael deep, raspy voice sounded through the air; calum shivered at the older boy's voice. the younger boy turned around a small pout present on his lips, seeing the older boy leaning up against his head board, stretching.

"t-to the bathroom, mikey," calum replied, smiling softly. his brown eyes glazed over a shirtless michael who was waving him back over, but calum was too busy taking everything in about mickael from his tattoos to his small, chubby stomach. calum loved his chubby stomach.

michael sighed through his gritted teeth as calum was distracted. michael wasn't all to patient with people a lot when they didn't do as he asked. especially when it came to calum. michael knew every weakness and strength of calum. he knew how to control calum, and he did.

the older boy was the first to know calum, meeting after a bad incident that happened to calum and michael was there when no else was. michael became calum's best friend and introduced him to luke and ashton. over the years they all grew super close and were attached at the hip.

since michael met calum he became over protective of the boy, always checking on him and being there to fight calum's for him. calum never really got the chance come out of his shell and fully embrace standing up for himself since michael did it for him. calum had no back bone really.

over time michael didn't just become protective but also obsessive with calum. luke and ashton never really took note of it, but assumed the two were closer since michael met calum first. they still did to this day. they knew michael could be aggressive and overbearing, but he was also cuddle and touchy.

ashton and luke just thought that was just michael and calum's relationship when michael would hold calum close and whisper things to him. they thought it was natural for michael to speak for calum in public because calum never really talked to anyone new besides the boy's and their families.

"the bathroom upstairs?" michael questioned slowly walking over to calum, he saw the smaller was already dressed and clenched his teeth. "what about the bathroom over there?" he asked, pointing to the attached bathroom in the room. calum gulped and licked over his dry lips.

"mikey, i just wanted to get up and go up stairs," calum mumbled lowly, scratching his wrist out of habit. michael grabbed calum's wrist and yanked the smaller boy forward, calum's clothed chest was pressed against michael's bare one, michael staring calum dead in the eye but calum's head remained down.

michael hated when calum lied to him, he always hated calum lying. the boy was soft spoken and quiet, he never did anything dirty and michael wanted the boy to stay that way. soft, calloused hands gripped calum's chin, tilting his head up. calum's eyes stared into dark green ones.
