The alarm clock screamed; WAKE UP! Yuuri grumbled and flopped onto his side, "Five more minutes~", he whined groggily and buried his head in his pillow. After a few minutes of grumbling, he put on his glasses and dragged himself away from his haven to get dressed.
Before leaving his room, Yuuri looked in the mirror. Staring back at him was a chubby Japanese male of the roughly average height. He was wearing his usual, a dark blue hoodie with grey sweatpants, topped with his also blue glasses. Yuuri tossed his shoulder length raven black hair to the side and smiled, giving his reflection a thumbs-up. He walked over to the kitchen, seeing his best friend Phichit at the kitchen table eating cereal.
"Good morning, Yuuri", greeted the short lean Thai male.
Yuuri yawned, "Good morning".

Yuuri put on his boots, grabbed his overflowing backpack, and opened the door, feeling the frigid chill of December. He quickly zipped up his jacket.
"Brrr!" commented Phichit, also zipping up his jacket. The plump Japanese male laughed at his best friend's expression, "Let's get going then".
Throughout the walk from home to the veterinary school, Phichit tried to start up a conversation, but Yuuri, engulfed in his morning stares, was not paying attention. Soon enough, Phichit gave up and went on his phone. Yuuri began to hum softly, playing in his head repeatedly what his plan was for the morning. First, he was going to go to his locker and get his stuff for First and Second period. Then, he was going to get a snack from the cafeteria and hang out with Phichit in the Courtyard, if time allows that is. And after that-
"WATCH OUT!"
