A few days had passed since the encounter.

Yuuri was relaxing, enjoying his free Friday afternoon, sprawled out on the couch. He was staring blankly at the TV, letting his mind wander with the background noise.

Phichit, who was also off, was enjoying tea on the narrow space of couch he could salvage. He watched Yuuri with interest.

"Yuuri-", he cleared his throat. "What's on your mind?"

Yuuri grumbled and turned to his friend. "I'm just thinking about the whole 'volunteering thing'. I mean, I am not really the one to favor schedules, and we will have to come in every Saturday. It might interfere with studying and-"he began to ramble.

Phichit giggled. "Alright, let me get this straight: you hate schedules, but when something that doesn't go with your daily routine happens, you freak out?"

 He nodded. "Basically, yeah"

The Thai male sighed, "You are truly something else, Yuuri.... But I'm pretty sure that's not the only thing—nor main thing you're worried about"

"Perhaps it's not", Yuuri replied casually, fidgeting a bit.

"Let me guess, it's Viktor, isn't it?"

Yuuri looked down at the floor in utter embarrassment.

"Honestly, I'm not surprised. The way you two locked eyes... I could sense the chemistry between you two"

"Y-You can't just assume with something as small as that; we only stared at each other for a few seconds!" blurted Yuuri in his defense.

"Now, now, no need to get so bent out of shape. I'll tell you what—how about I help you get close to Viktor?" Probably not as close as Viktor was to me the other day....

"Fine", he gave in, "just don't tell Viktor that I have feelings for him? Please?"

"Deal", Phichit finalized, putting his teacup down and shook hands with Yuuri.
