"Yuuri? Yuuri wake up!" the voice sounded as if it were underwater. Yuuri turned on his side, grumbling. It was probably part of the dream, he hoped. Then, he felt someone grab him and begin to shake him.
"What.... WHAT? I'M UP!" Yuuri answered, and was almost immediately dropped onto the bed, face first. He scrambled up and reached over to the end table to grab his glasses. He blinked, his mind blank, as he saw Yurio, Otabek, and Phichit standing at the end of the bed. "Huh?" Yuuri glanced over at his alarm clock. 3:30 AM it read.
Yuuri felt his expression harden. "Why would you wake me up at 3 in the morning? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHY WOULD BRING YURIO AND OTABEK ALONG WITH YOU?!" he cried.
"Calm down, it's all part of the plan," Phichit began, "We just need to update you on—" Yuuri spotted brown fluffy fur travel over to his bed, trying his best to leap up. "—Something"
"Is that Makkachin? How..." he began hesitantly, his eyes wide. "Wait, you know what? I don't care. I'm going back to sleep. I'm not dealing with this. I'm not going to be part of your little plan. Good night," Yuuri huffed exasperatedly. He flopped back into bed, covering his face with a pillow.
Otabek went over to the side of the bed, briefly patting the dog's head. "Now Yuuri, you need to cooperate with us. We aren't doing this for our benefit. We're doing it for yours."
"Why would stealing a dog, Viktor's dog, be to MY benefit?" Yuuri asked, voice slightly muffled by the pillow.
"Because it's going to help you get closer to Viktor." Phichit whisper-yelled.
Yuuri stayed silent for a little while before deciding to speak again. "You people are absolutely insane" he said, getting up again.
"Now that's the spirit!" exclaimed Yurio, doing a little arm-swing.
"So, what do you want me to do?" he inquired.
"Mentally prepare yourself because, Viktor's coming over in~ 30 minutes" chirped Phichit.
