Michael sighed and rubbed his forehead as he saw Jonathan, shaking his head slightly before walking towards the upstairs. I gave an amused smile as he did so, jumping when I heard Jonathan speak.

"Who was that?" He asked curiously, making Michael and I freeze and make eye contact. "Well, that's my boyfriend, Michael." I said slowly, earning wide eyes and a gasp from Jonathan.

"(Y/n)'s got a boyfriend!" Jonathan chanted over and over again, a devilish grin on his face. I looked to Michael with the same grin, laughing as I saw him mumble profanities under his breath and walk upstairs.

~

Michael distanced himself the rest of the day from Jonathan, and I only saw home whenever Johnny was taking a nap in bed. "What's up with you? Why are you being so isolated?" I murmured softly in the hallway, closing my bedroom door behind me to keep the room quiet.

'Well, saying that you disappeared for a week and come back with a random kid makes me take some time to think.' Michael replied, his voice cautious and suspicious all at once.

I simply rolled my eyes at him, waving him off with a hand. "Well, Johnny is starting to think that you don't like him, and that's hard for a three year old to accept." I murmured, looking back to the door with a soft frown.

'Well he might wanna get used to it. It's the real life.' Michael scoffed, earning a hard shove to his shoulder from me and a disappointed glare. "He's a toddler. Don't you dare treat him like an adult. You can talk with me once you stop being a complete asshole." I growled, opening the door and walking back into the room.

God, why does Michael have to be such an ass sometimes?

~

"He doesn't even look at me." Jonathan mumbled sadly at the kitchen table, poking his food around his plate with doleful puppy eyes. Just the sight of this little boy so sad for not having the attention of one man was enough to make my heart ache.

"I'll talk to him right now. You wait here and finish eating, okay?" I told Johnny, ruffling his hair and kissing his forehead before walking up the stairs, a steady frown growing on my face.

I swung the bedroom door open and glared at Michael on the bed, him looking surprised at my face. "Michael Myers, if you don't come downstairs and at least say a simple hello to that child, we're done and you can get out of my home."

With that, I whirled around and walked out of the bedroom, heading back down the stairs and to the kitchen.

~

"He'll be down soon, or so help me I'll toss him out the door by the seat of his pants." I said as I walked in the kitchen, earning a happy grin from Johnny. "C'mon, let's go watch movies and wait for him."

We both sat on the couch and watched old reruns of original Disney movies, and I turned and looked at the stairs when I heard Michael's heavy footsteps coming down.

"He's tall." Jonathan announced, also looking back to him. He gave an excited wave and grin, and I gave Michael a death glare, just challenging him to not answer.

"I get that a lot." Michael said, unable to hide the small smile on his face as he waved and walked over, sitting down on the couch with us.

Finally, that jackass says a word to Jonathan. Jonathan babbled about random stories from while he lived in Oregon with his mother, still watching the movie at the same time. I smiled a bit when I watched Michael actually paying attention to the stories, and I finally relaxed and laid back against the cushions.

~

Jonathan was currently asleep on my lap, his face hidden against my chest as I slowly rubbed his back. "Thank you... for talking and listening to him." I murmured softly, looking to Michael with a smile.

'No problem. I was just nervous to scare him.' Michael responded with a slight chuckle, catching my lips in an affectionate kiss. I smiled slightly and kissed him back, relaxing at his touch.

"I love you. Sorry for going to Oregon without telling you first." I mumbled slightly, reluctantly pulling away and looking up to Michael. He simply Bruges, gesturing down to Jonathan. "I think he also needed you to be there."

I looked down to Jonathan and nodded my head in agreement, giving a sigh. "I'm gonna hate having to let him go back home." I added, shaking my head and holding him close.

~

It was getting late out by now, the sun was set and Jonathan sitting on the kitchen counter beside me as I finished cleaning dishes after dinner. I let him help dry dishes, lifting him up to the cupboards to put them away.

"Mama was always scared I'd hurt myself if I helped with dishes." Jonathan chimed in, laughing as I tossed him up and caught him again. "That's for letting me help, auntie!"

I smiled at the name he called me, kissing Jonathan's forehead once. "No problem. Let's get you in the bath tub, then I'll read a few stories before bed." I added, balancing Jonathan on my hip as I headed upstairs and into the bathroom.

~

"Michael, would you watch him for just a second?" I called out the door, hearing my phone ringing in the other room. He popped his head in the door, giving an unsure and nervous look. "You positive you want me to?" He asked, and I gave a swift nod and buried out. "Kaythanksloveyouberightback!!!"

It had been my cousin, just asking about how Jonathan had been doing. I filled her in on everything, and how Jonathan and Michael were getting along just fine. "He's watching him right now in the bath tub, so I gotta get going. Love ya." I added, ending the call and walking back to the bathroom.

It looked like mayhem. Bubbles all over the place, bath toys scattered the room, and a soaked Michael splashing water back and forth with Jonathan, who was laughing like crazy.

They both went still and looked at me with wide, silent eyes, an innocent yet devilish smile on each of their faces. "Um... hi?" Michael said with a short laugh, standing up and ruffling the bath bubbles out of his own hair.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes playfully, crossing my arms over my chest and giving a smile. "Jeez... boys." I laughed, walking over and scooping Jonathan out of the tub with a towel. "Michael, take him to the bedroom and get him dressed while I clean up this mess."

Michael and Jonathan stayed silent as they walked out of the bathroom, and both of them busted out into uncontrollable laughter as soon as they exited the room. God, I love those two, but it's gonna take forever to dry off the floor and get everything neat and clean again. Thank god I found this funny.

Boys. Am I right?
