Chapter 23

Minato's POV

            I watched as Akemi ran away. What just happened? Why did she kissed me? Questions start swirling in my mind as I walked back home thinking what the he'll just happened earlier.

            I arrived home and walked upstairs silently. Akemi is already asleep as I can tell by the quiet mansion. I opened the door slowly and silent sobs and heavy breathing filled the room. I opened the door wider and entered. I saw Akemi thrashing around definitely a nightmare.

"Stop......... i-it's not t-t-true....... i-i'm not a m-monster........ please"

            I watched as tears fell from her eyes. Fear, anger, sorrow, guilt, and even regret. I quickly shook her awake.

"Akemi..... Akemi wake up..... Akemi wake up!" I yelled while shaking her

            She shot awake with wide eyes, she was trembling in fear like a leaf. I hugged her tightly while rubbing her back trying to calm her down. That nightmare must've frightened her. I felt her clung to me while sobbing and hiccuping.

"Calm down Akemi....... it's alright...... don't worry I got you it's just a dream" I said softly

            For some unknown reason she cried harder. I sighed and slowly rocked her sideways. I have no idea how to calm down an upset woman.

Time Skip

            I woke up the next morning. It's warm and I don't want to get up. I pulled the pillow closer to me and hurry my face on the pillow's neck inhaling its vanilla and cherry blossom scent. Until I heard a person's moan. Wait moan? Neck? Pillows don't have those. Wait a minute..... I slowly opened my eyes only to be greeted by curtains of red hair. I blink once. Twice. I slightly pulled away and stared  at the person I was hugging. Akemi. I stared at her rounded pale face, cute nose, red lips, and rossy cheeks. I moved her bangs away from her face and I stared at the red heart with wings tattoo on her right forehead. It's not noticeable since it's so small. I tried to touch it but only to get pinned down. My eyes widen in shock and stared at her wide eyed. Akemi was sitting on my hips both of her hands pinned my wrist down. She was growling and glaring at me.

"Don't. Touch. The. Mark" she growled out

"Akemi"

            I stared at her eyes. They were clouded with desire, lust, and desperation. I stared to get nervous when she showed me her fangs which was weird since Phoenix doesn't have fangs. I can feel her body temperature is heating up. Her face went red too.

"Heat............ I'm  in heat" she painted. I blushed at that.

            I know about demons heat and mating season since Kushina told me about it but since she is a full human that carries a full demon she sometimes felt it when the Kyuubi is in heat.

"Damn it"

Kushina's POV

            I dragged Daisuke towards the Namikaze household. Seriously l haven't seen the two all day well not literally all day. But it's 1 in the afternoon.

"Hey if you are going to spy on them why dragging me?" Daisuke asked annoyed

"Because......... just come with me!"

            I barge inside the house. Before staring blankly at the two couples. Minato was on the couch reading his favourite book while Akemi was polishing her katana.

"Kushina have you ever heard of th word knock?" Akemi said tired my

"Where have you two been all morning? Old geezer tried to locate you guys but its like you were gone from the elemental nations" I ranted

"Look Kushina sorry to worry you but we.... um" Minato trailed off

"We went back to the Fire Island to discuss an important matter to the royals" Akemi said

"Yeah right. As if you just poof away without a say t-"

"Kushina I already told you. It's our bad habbit to make decision out of no where and take immediate action weither you comply or not it doesn't change a thing or two. Now shut up and mind you're Damon business" Akemi said with her Shut up and drop the subject because I have nothing to say to you I huffed.

"Oh yeah? Then why are you both so tired?" I pressed on

"If you're playing mind games with me and try to trick me on spilling where we've been then you need more practice. Kushina I am not in the mood" she said angerly

            I was about to say something when Minato glared at me and gave me the If you value your life you have to leave look. I opened my mouth with I heard a snap. Our heads turned to Akemi. She just snap her blade in two. I quickly grabbed Daisuke's wrist and we made a run for it.

Okay now I'm curious what the he'll just happened!!!!!!
