Chapter 5: FOOD WARS!!

...Lunch Time...

After about 5 more classes it was finally lunch, then Aii-chan took me to this little secret spot under a tree where he, Rin, and Sousuke usually eat together. And since he said I'm new, he'll treat me to lunch just this once.

After he left to go fetch Rin and Sousuke I just sat there and thought for a minute. Touching the cat necklace around my neck I sighed. This brings back some memories... But, I'm here now! It doesn't matter its time to let go(Let it Go like Elsa everyone) of the past and move on to the present. Now maybe this necklace can represent something else instead of my heartbreak, since it would really be a waste if I only looked at this necklace as a disgrace from my past memories. Instead this could maybe mean my new life here...yeah, that would be nice.

"Hey Kokona." Sousuke suddenly appears behind me and sits down next to me. "So, how's your day going so far?"

"Hmm...aside from Wakana-san and Morizono-senpai fighting over who gets to tour me and walk me to my next class its pretty ok so far. Where's Rin by the way?" I said contemplating everything that's happened so far.

"Oh, Rin and Aiichiro-kun went to get food. Anyway, I hear Itachi has this whole new thing for you." He says.

"Itachi?"

"Oh, that's Morizono-kun's first name." He explained.

"Well...ok." I said, then added out of my curiosity, "Thing for me?"

"Well you know, most girls would love the chance to serve him and kneel down on their knees for him. And well, he chooses some of the interesting ones and plays with them in ways that are really just...." Sousuke stops there and shudders.

"Um...I'm gonna avoid him from now on..." I said awkwardly.

"You would and should." Sousuke says.

"Yo we brought the food." Aii-kun and Rin come back with a bunch of food in their hands and sets them all in between our little circle.

"You bought WAAAY too much." I said, even though I know that Rin would probably eat most of it.

"Please Kona, I could eat all of this and not share any with you!" He said and playfully hovered around the ramen hot noodle cups which were place on trays.

"Hey Rin-senpai I spent my money on that too!" Aii-kun exclaims.

"Haha! Jeez Rin, don't be a hoarder and share the food would you? There are some hungry souls in this circle too!" I said then took the ramen out of his hands and handed one to Aii-kun, then Sousuke.

"Pass one here Kona." Rin says and holds out his hands, as if a tricker-treater on Halloween asking for candy.

"Hm...should I? Sousuke, Aii-kun?" I asked and looked towards both of them.

"I'd be happy enough to share mine with Rin." Sousuke said with a pleasant smile on his face.

"Don't get lovey dovey here of all places." I said as I passed Rin a ramen cup.

"MHMM!" Aii-chan nodded in full agreement.

Then suddenly from inside the cafeteria we heard a crash, something that sounded like a plate breaking and also a window fell down...how do windows fall down again?

"MORIZONO AND TSUMUGI-SAMA ARE AT IT AGAIN!!!" We hear someone scream from the inside of the cafeteria.

Everyone except me stands up and I sigh, "Do we have to?" And they all look at me as if I'm crazy. "Ugh...fine." Standing up I follow them to the cafeteria.

Upon opening the two huge double doors we see plates broken and destroyed, a window cracked, tables flipped, and food everywhere. And just near the center there's a whole barracade of tables around the place where Wakana-san and Morizono-senpai are aiming food at each other.

Looking at both of them they didn't look to great... Wakana-san's hair looks like it was drenched in ramen, soaked with soup and noodles lingering on the top, her skirt was stained with ketchup and her top was covered in....I don't even want to tell you. Oh...and don't forget that theres a pickle sliding down her cheek.

But otherwise, compared to Morizono-senpai, they both looked the same. Extremely messed up. Morizono-senpai's black hair was covered in mayonnaise and on his shoulder lay a...burger bun? Um. Yeah, his pants had some ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomato's sliding off of them. And his shoes were drenched in a slushie...or Starbucks.

Walking away from Rin, Sousuke, and Aii-chan I tap someone's shoulder and ask, "Um...what's happening?"

She turns to look at me and she seems familiar...Hm. Oh well, anyway, she whispers back to me, "They're fighting over the last piece of salmon sushi...again, this is getting kind of old don't you think?" Then she turns to take a good look at me and smiles, "I'm Osana."

I smile back, "Kokona Shirogane. Nice to meet you." Then after bidding her farewell I advance to the center of the so called 'battle ground'.

Stepping in between both of them everyone gasps in shock, no ones ever done this before. They never bothered to even try to stop a fight between them.

"K-kokona! Move out of the way! I was just about to finish this guy off!" Wakana-san screams and waves to me. A gesture to get out of the way.

"Ugh, I believe I was the one who was about to finish YOU off Wakana-chan. Now move out of the way my dear butterfly for she may soil your beauty!" Um....was he trying to be poetic? I cringe at his new nickname for me.

"Ok..." I say, starting off slowly so I can convey all the emotions I had inside of me to them, "I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AT HPW CHILDISH BOTH OF YOU ARE FREAKING ACTING!" As they stare at me in shock, a smug smile curves my lips as I walk out of their little 'battle ground' leaving them dumbfounded. Then all of a sudden we hear a slow clapping coming from outside the room. Turning around to see who it is it turns out to be an old man in a very fancy suit.

"P-principal!" Both Student Council President and Head Disciplinarian scream.

"Ah..yes, yes. I really did think our were something Ms. Shirogane, but I didn't think you were this much." His eyebrows lift in amusement. "Now.. I expect both of you to clean up this cafeteria." He says gesturing to Wakana-san and Morizono-senpai. "Do you understand?"

"Y-yessir!" Smugly, he smiles as they both immediately start cleaning up the mess.

"Now everyone, return to your classes. And Ms. Shirogane, I would like you to follow me for awhile."

Looking towards Rin, Sousuke and Aii-chan they both have this look in their eye as if its ok for me to go. Nodding at them I walk towards the principal and follow him to his office.
