Chapter 11: TOGETHER FINALLY!

"K-kona-san don't be mad please..." He whispers as tears roll down his cheeks.

Why would I be mad?

"B-because I ignored you and avoided you f-for two weeks..." Aii-chan said. Oops, did I say that out loud?

"I'm not mad... I talked with Aoi-chan by the way. She's nice. I don't see why people wouldn't fall for her but she pretty much explained everything to me and well, she kinda gave me a push to talk to you and um tell you something..."

Aii-chan looks at me with wide eyes as if he can't believe that I actually want to talk to him after all this time.

"Aii-chan... Look, so I heard from Sousuke that you got dumped by some girl from the past and ever since I came you brightened up or something like that. And well, I do like you, more than I probably know, but I just want you to know. If your using me or Aoi-chan to forget about her I won't be willing to even try this with you. I don't want to be used and just left there OK? Nobody is meant to be treated like that."

Aii-chan nodded and smiled at me for the first time in like... Forever, with the add of a slight blush.

"And also, I heard you did the whole flirting scene with Aoi-chan just to see how I would react and I'm not sure why you did that and well, the reason I didn't react the way you probably wanted me to is because I was still figuring out whether I liked you or not. I mean, I just got heart broken and I wasn't sure if I was using you to forget about the pain. So I guess when I saw you with Aoi-chan I felt hurt but tears never came since I knew we weren't a thing that time. And well, after consulting a friend... I realize I really like you Aii-chan and I would really want to try it with you, if you want to." I said with a probably huge blush on my face when the last sentence came.

Aii-chan was blushing too and while giving me a lopsided smile as he said his reply, "Um... I'm not too good at this kind of thing but I-I'm happy you aren't mad at me. And, yes, I did get rejected by a girl I liked back then and well... Here you came, I finally got to be myself around someone other than the swim team. You made me feel somewhat human and more than anything you made me realize what liking someone really felt like. But then... I dunno, I saw you walking with that brown haired Iwatobi guy and I got kinda jealous which is weird since back then I also kinda saw you as my friend and maybe a bit more. I was still a little confused. So I tried to experiment with Otona-san and I didn't feel the same way I felt when I'm around you. Somehow, you get me to blush and get embarrassed for no real reason and I get this warm, fuzzy feeling deep inside. I've never felt that with anyone. And, I like you too. So, if you really want to try this, try us... I'm willing to take baby steps for you..." He somewhat whispered the last part but I still heard loud and clear before wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.

"Aii-chan I like you too!" I squealed and looked at him as he stared at me with a huge blush covering his face. "Maybe I should call you Mr. Tomato now hehe!"

"W-what?! No! And... You can call me Nitori now since, we're dating now right?" He asked. Insecurity deep in his eyes.

"Idiot, of course we're dating! We just made up and I kissed you on the cheek so how are we not dating again Nitori-kun?" I asked with a pout which he smiled at.

"Your still blushing Mr. Tomato!!!" I sang out as he blushed even harder.

"Uwaa!!!! Kitty don't say that so loud!!!" Nitori squealed and tried to cover my mouth but I slapped his hands away.

"Kitty?" I asked, confused with the nickname.

"Well I mean.. You look like the type to like cats and you sort of act like one. Like when cats fall they always land on their four feet so it's like when you fall you always manage to fall on your feet because you have a steady, forward attitude to life unlike me hehe. And also I've always wanted a cat so I think a girlfriend cat is even better." He suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him as he rained little kisses on my cheeks.

"N-nitori-kun we're in a hallway." I whispered as the first bell rang.

"Oh..." Nitori blushed deeply with a smile before grabbing my hand, "Let's get to class Kitty! We also have to explain to Otona-san what just happened between us!"

"OK, OK! D-don't run Nitori-kun!!" I screamed as we started running through the hallways all of a sudden.

"How can I not run when I'm so excited with the fact that I finally got the answer I wanted from the girl I like?!" Nitori said joyously.

Sousuke and Rin were walking down the hallway and looked at us with teasing smiles as Nitori practically dragged me to the classroom. Sousuke even gave me a thumbs up.

When we got to the classroom some people were already there and Aoi-chan was just sitting on her desk reading a novel when I shooed off Nitori to his deks and approached her. "Hi Aoi-chan!" I smiled and waved at her.

"Ooh!! I see you and Aiichiro are together now!" Aoi-chan wiggles her eyebrows all suggestively. "Sooo, what's it like?"

"Hmm... Feels like your on a cloud and Nitori is way too cute to be on this world that's why he's on the cloud. Or something like that!" She looked at me with a small smile on her face.

"You know Kokona-chan your glowing right?" She said.

"Wait... What do you mean by ‘glowing’ exactly?" I asked.

"Well, just radiating. With happiness, joy and all the good happy stuff in between. Love is a mystery huh?"

She's got this knowing look that just compells me to ask, "Have you been in a relationship before Aoi-chan?"

She nodded sadly, "We broke up after 2 years because he said that the ‘spark was dying’ between us or something like that. So I just wished him good luck in his future life and left. I mean, if they can't appreciate me for what I can give and accept my limits what's the point of the relationship right? Relationships must be built on trust, understanding, and honesty. Everything that relationship I had with him didn't have."

"Wow Aoi-chan that must be sad..."

"I'm over it. Besides! Now I get to fangirl over you and Aiichiro!! So cute uwa!!!" She squeals excitedly.

"Yeah yeah..."

"Hey Kokona?" Someone taps my shoulder from behind.

"Yeah?" When I turn around I see Wakana with somewhat tears in her face. "Oh my god what the heck is wrong?!"

"Just... Come with me to the bathroom please?"

"OK, sorry Aoi-chan I have to go now." But all she does is stand up and say. "No I wanna go too."

Wakana just nods and we drag a sniffling disciplinarian to the bathroom.

THEY FINALLY MADE UP IN A SUPER CLICHÉ WAY!!! GOOD JOB ME!!! Yeah cliché's just happen to be my forte. Anyway. I SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO FOLLOW MY UPDATING SCHEDULE FROM NOW ON! LOL

Also I was listening to Meghan Trainor's ‘NO’ while writing this so the song sort of inspired me to finally make this chapter for all of you lol, gotta love Meghan.
