Chapter 7: Unexpected Surprise

The next morning, I sit up from my bed and look over to Wakana-san's bed to see that she's still asleep. Checking my phone it says its currently 7:05 AM. I smile softly as I realize what day it is today.

Today's the day I met Anesuto Tachibana.

Getting up from bed and heading into the bathroom as I text him,

-Happy Unimportant Anniversary bro.-

I laugh a little to myself considering the fact that this was how I greeted him every year.

- You think we'll ever stop doing this?- He replies.

- Nah, its fun anyway. Messin' around with peoples heads.-

- Btw I'm not in the house.- I added.

- R u seriously gonna make me chase you like last time just to give you some cake?-

He then sends a meme with 'SERIOUSLY' as the caption.

- No, just come to the address I'm gonna text you.-

- Fine.-

I text him the address of Samezuka as well as my room number and I almost know that he's confused at the moment.

- Samezuka? Why are you there?- He asked.

- I transferred. Guess I didn't tell you Hm?-

- You are seriously so mean to me.-

- Can't stop the feeling.-

- Just get on over, and btw my roomie is the Head Disciplinarian so just pick me up and take me somewhere we can eat cake.-

- Nah, I wanna meet someone other than me who can actually survive your horrid personality.-

- Coming over in like 5 mins, and you better not greet me w/ ur pj's on.-

I come out of the bathroom and I look for something to wear, then decide on a gray braided sweater that reveals the shoulders, a short dark blue layered skirt, black leggings, simple black ballet flats and my signature headband. I brushed my hair a bit more then I got another text in my phone.

- I'm outside the building.-

"Mmm... Why you up so early Kokona?" Wakana slurred from her bed, her eyelids barely even open.

"Oh, just going somewhere, I'll be back later so go back to sleep." I reassured as Wakana plopped her head back onto the pillow and knocked her out.

I grab my purse from the vanity and head outside.

I walked towards the glass double doors as I saw the guard interrogating Anesuto.

"Sir! He's with me." I said and grabbed Anesuto's arm as I pulled him away, "Sorry hehe!"

"Aw, I wanted to see your roomate." Anesuto said.

"Well she isn't much of a morning person, and its weird if I let you inside just to see a sleeping girl. Besides, you'll see her when you drop me off anyway." I said and punched his shoulder a bit.

"Ugh, just get in the car won't you?" Anesuto groaned and held open the passenger door.

"Woah, first time you never brought the cake beforehand." I faked astonishment as I fastened the seatbelt.
