I was a little bit scared, I admit but that didn't stop me from being a rebel and running away from the place that held my memories.

Okay, nobody knew my actual name, my looks were easy to change, I just needed to find a place to stay.

I just walked in the dark parts of the city to avoid people seeing me.

I was just walking when I saw something or someone that I expected the least. Shinigami Ao. A.k.a. my biological mother.

My mouth and my eyes got wider when I saw her. She hasn't really changed since I last saw her. But for me, I changed a lot.

"You ran away from there finally, I see. Couldn't stand the pressure of her death? Like father like child, your father was senstive too." She then chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm senstive. So what? Are you gonna push my limits? Or maybe make me go back to that shitty place? I'm not afraid of it. I'm your child too, afterall." I needed to catch my breath after saying this all in one breath.

"Look baby, I want you to be happy. I won't do anything bad, I promise. And I'm offering you a new life with a family that will love you. And an addition for my only daughter, I'll make you forget parts of your past that saddens you the most."

My mouth gaped as she said the last part with a sincere smile.

"Really?!?! Oh dear Lord, are you serious?!?!"

I asked while smiling like an idiot. If she can do that, she will save me from losing my mind.

"Why would I tell you something that I can't do? I'm capable of doing that. And if you want, I'll actually do that."

I was shocked and happy at the same time.

Also I didn't know what to do.

Suddenly, I got a headache.

"(Y/N), you should do it for your own sake. Don't mind me, I'm already gone. Do it for your own mental health. I loved you and it won't matter even if you don't remember me."

I took a couple of ragged breaths after the pain went away.

Should I really do it, Ali?

"Yes."

"Okay. Do whatever you need to. I'm ready for a new life."

"Well, you wanted it my dear daughter. But, which name are you going to use? Fake one or the name me and your father gave you?"

"I'm not sure. What should I do?"

"It'll be your life. You should make the desigion by yourself. Also, you know the besy that you shouldn't trust me."

"Okay. I'll go by my actual name. The one that you gave me."
