Chapter 1 – Soraya’s POV

This year i’m gonna be good. Seriously, I know I say it every year but this year I actually mean it.  Dominic’s been on my case already. Since dad left his been acting like my fricken bodyguard, watching me around the clock, even sending his pathetic little minions to follow me around. I mean what the hell is that all about, Don’t get me wrong I know he means well but he just doesn’t seem to get how seriously annoying it is that I can’t do anything fun anymore without knowing he’s probably nearby watching me.

“Soraya, we gotta go!” Dominic yelled.

“Bro stop rushing me, were not going to be late so just chill Jheeze.” I replied.

You’d think the one time Dominic would leave me alone is school. I mean what brother enjoys being with their little sister in school?!? But nooooo Dominic won’t leave me alone there either.

“You know I need to be in early today, I’ve got shift practise at 8 remember?” he said.

“So leave without me, I am capable of catching a bus to school, i’m not a total delinquent” I muttered, knowing full well he’d still be able to hear me even though I was upstairs and he was down.

We wolves just had extra good hearing like that and especially since Dominic had finally mated, his senses had become stronger.

**sighs** “You know I’m not going to leave you Ray Ray,” he sighed.

“Then stop rushing me!” I screamed, “I’m nearly done anyway”

“you don’t need to shout at me sis I do have an exceptionally good sense of hearing if I say so myself” he chuckled, “ I’ll wait for you in the car okay, 10 minutes then I’m coming to your room and carrying you to schools sis.”

“Yeah yeah whatever you say”

Seriously he does this routine every morning. Acting as if he is my dad or something ever since dad died Dominic has felt it is his duty to protect me but he doesn’t seem to understand I can protect myself.

“SORAYA!”

“I’m done.”

A/N:

Just a reminder its my first ever story so all constructive criticism is welcome. Was the chapter too long/ short etc. A bit of action will be coming soon by the way, In the next chapter or chapter 3 hopefully.

I know nothing exciting has happened yet but if you feel theres no point me continuing please tell me ... in a nice way though :)
