Chapter 14 - D'Shane's POV

A/N: Hmm... Writing the story from a boys POV is way harder than I thought so I'm going to be writing most of the story in Soraya's POV now... My apologies to anyone who looked forward to a male POV.

Also schools coming back soon so the updates might not be frequent ... Sorry :(

On the plus side the story isn't on hold anymore :D And I'm hoping to finish it in the next 10 to 15 chapters.

Anyway, moving on with the story ...

We've only been sitting in this chemistry class for ten minutes and already Mr Bouldry had put everyone to sleep. Truth be told the only reason I was still awake was because I was waiting for Soraya. I knew for a fact that she was coming in today because I text her this morning to check.

I needed to put my plan into action today. I'd already worked out that Soraya is not stupid so convincing her that she was my mate was going to be a major problem. But I'm not stupid either, I knew exactly how to get to Soraya. I was going to do it at Tristan's party. I knew for a fact that she would be there because from what I've heard, Tristan's parties are legendary ... And Soraya is not one to miss a good party.

You know the term "talk of the devil?" Well that term fitted exactly as just then none other than Soraya walked through the door. Time to put my plan into action...

"Aw man Mr Bouldry was driving me up the wall today!" Soraya exclaimed.

"Imagine how those of us who actually bothered to get to class on time feel?" I jokingly replied.

"Ha bloody ha! I already told you it wasn't my fault I was late... I got held up that's all,"

"Held up doing what exactly?"

“Just stuff...” “Hey don’t you find it so annoying when we only have to come in for one lesson before we go home again?

“Stop changing the subject Soraya what held you up?”

“Um my dog died?”

“Seriously? At least come up with a believable excuse or something... but ‘just something’ you don’t have to make it so obvious that you don’t trust me enough to tell me you know,”

“It’s not that I don’t trust you D’Shane,”

“So you can tell me then,”

“It’s not a secret anyway and it’s nothing exciting,”

“So there is absolutely no reason why you can’t tell me then is there?”

“Well I suppose not... Promise not to judge me though?”

“Is it that bad?” I joked

She swatted me with her books before replying.

“I mean it D’Shane!”

“Okay, okay,” I cried out in mock surrender “I promise not to judge,”

“I was trying to seduce a boy...”

I couldn’t help it but I burst out laughing, but I stopped almost immediately when Soraya started to walk away.

“Hey Soraya come on I’m not judging you,”

“You’re laughing at me though, which is just as bad,”

“”I’m not laughing at you...” I started

“Really?” She muttered

“It’s just the sight of you winking at a boy when you were trying to seduce them must have been pretty hilarious,” I smiled

“Oh my gosh you’re seriously never going to let me forget that I can’t wink are you?” She sighed with a half smile

“Never,”

“That’s not fair you know, you have something to use against me but I don’t have anything against you,”

“Who were you seducing anyway?” I asked changing the subject

“Cahsjin...” She mumbled

“Who?” I asked again

“Cain,” she sighed

“Cain! The alpha Cain you mean?” I asked bewildered

“Yeah...”

“Can I ask why?”

“Well...” she began

Talk about making my life a thousand times more complicated! How on earth am I supposed to convince Soraya she is my mate now when she is so sure that Cain is her mate.

I’m going to have to think up a totally new plan fast otherwise I am officially a dead man walking.

*******Soraya’s POV

To be honest telling D’Shane wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. For some reason talking to him seemed a hell of a lot easier than talking to one of the girls, especially after how Deloris had reacted.

And he said and did all the right things. AHHring and AWWing in all the right places.

You know what, maybe telling D’Shane was the best thing I’ve done today. I mean he’s a guy, so he knows what other guy’s are like right? And that means he can help me get through to Cain.

Perfect.

A/N:  so I know I was supposed to upload yesterday guy’s but my clever self forgot to save the chapter and then my laptop froze so I basically had to re write this chapter which is also why it is so short. Sorry guy’s.
