Chapter 10 – Soraya’s POV

I still couldn’t get Cain out of my head and it had been two days.
“I’m warning you now Soraya... what I want, I get.” “I’m warning you now Soraya... what I want, I get.” “I’m warning you now Soraya... what I want, I get.” “I’m warning you now Soraya... what I want, I get.”
Cain’s parting words kept swimming around my head, I didn’t even go to school for the rest of the week because of it. I knew that I just would not be able to concentrate, especially if I had classes with Cain.
Surprisingly though Cain hadn’t been around again to see me. If we really are mates, if he really wants me the way he says... he would have made an effort to see me again... right?!
I tried to ask Dominic a few inconspicuous questions about Cain but they were all answered with annoying grunts.
“Soraya?? SORAYA!!” Deloris shouted
I quickly snapped out of my daze.
“Yeah sorry, what were you saying?”
“You were thinking about Cain weren’t you?”
“I don’t know what to do Dee ... how do I know if he likes me back or not, how do I know he doesn’t just want me for sex?”
“You don’t, but you say you think you’re mates right?”
“Well my wolf seems sure of it...”
“Well then he definitely will feel something for you... no one can deny the calling of a mate, so that’s that worry diminished.”
“But it’s not just that Dee, I just don’t know if I can trust Cain or not, I mean it’s no secret that Cain’s the biggest Manwhore in town,” I sighed frowning.
“So you need to test him to find out then...”
“Test him how exactly? What am I going to do? Go up to him and ask him if he’s still a Manwhore?”
“Well, there is that but I was thinking a more subtle approach”
“like...”
“Well I haven’t got that subtle approach yet but don’t worry when I have it you’ll be the first to know”
******* Cain’s POV
“So who’s the girl then?” Dominic asked
“What are you talking about?” I sighed in reply
“You’ve had a dazed look on your face the whole time I’ve been here-”
“I’m tired”
“Okay but you’ve let me beat you in fifa 12 times in a row which is bad for you-”
“You can still blame that on the fact that I’m tired Dom,” I said wearily
“Okay, but you’ve been checking your phone every two minutes so your obviously deciding whether you should call her or not and all you’ve been doing is deeply sighing like something is troubling you. If anything I would say you’ve found your mate Cain and you just don’t want to tell me...”
“You know if I had found my mate you would be the first to know... you’re my best friend, I wouldn’t keep that from you,”
Unless I knew that my mate was your sister of course, even though that’s totally against the bro code... every boy knows that their best friends sister is off limits...
So why is it Soraya is the only person I’ve been thinking about?
Why is it that I can’t get this girl out of my head?
******* Soraya’s POV
“I’VE GOT IT!” Deloris yelled
“Oh my did you really have to shout?” I replied
“Well no but I thought that was more likely to get your attention so...”
“So what’s your subtle plan then?”
“It’s so subtle its beautiful, it’s so subtle it’s a master piece, it’s so subtle its---”
“DEE!”
“Oh sorry I was getting a bit carried away there, basically you’re scared that Cain’s still a Manwhore right?”
“Right.”
“And who’s the biggest hoe in the school?”
“Ermm.................”
“Answer truthfully babe I don’t mind,”
“Okay you are,”
“Exactly and not like I’m bragging or anything but how many boys have turned me down if I’ve offered myself to them?”
“None I guess”
“So what if I try and seduce Cain... just to see how he reacts?”
“Nuh-uh no way!!”
“Why?” Deloris asked pouting
"Just because"
"Oh i get it..."
"Get what?!"
"Well your only disagreeing to my oh so brilliant plan because you're scared..."
"And what exactly am i scared of Dee... enlighten me..."
“You’re scared that your precious Cain won’t be able to say no to me, that you’ll be heartbroken because the moon goddess has destined you to be with some Manwhore, you’re scared that Cain will pick me over you.”
