A week later I get a call from Dj. I hadn't seen much of Sway either. Every time I try to see her something comes up. I'm trying not to think the worst but my feelings got too deep involved. I was even planning on ending things with Dj fr and telling everybody about me and Sway but now I'm not sure. When Dj called me, I decided to just wait.
"Hey babygirl."
"Hi Devon."
"Moms told me you kept the babies."
"Yup."
"Oh that's wassup, how is everything? You good? Need anything?"
Not from you nigga.
"I'm fine."
"Strawberry."

"Yes, Devon?"
"Can you talk to me? for real?"
"I thought I only had five minutes." I roll my eyes. His ass better be lucky I even fucking answered. I was also holding back tears, because I hadn't heard his voice in so long. I was fighting with missing him and hating him.
"Theyre girls. I don't know what to name them. Nothing is coming to mind."
"Dakota Simone Jefferson and Daijah Sade Jefferson."
"I love those. I spoke to your mom. She was telling me she knew who Mykia's baby daddy was. She's having a boy. Guess what she's naming him? Devon Michael Jefferson Jr. Like I really can't bel-"
"She should name that lil nigga Jonathan."

"One of Mykia's cousins in here with me g. She telling her whole family that JonJon her real baby father. That she keep saying it's me just to fuck with you and shit cause she mad I got you pregnant. That ho been fucking one of my niggas. But that nigga a snake anyways. I really think he set me up g."
What?! What in the hell was Dj talking about? My hands felt sweaty. I could beat Mykia's ass right now! That's why she been spending so much time with JonJon? The nerve of that nigga!
"Aye babygirl, I gotta go. They fenna do count. Oh my case may be eligible for appeal. My lawyer said they found new evidence or some shit. Somebody set me up. I love you." He hangs up.
"I love you too." I am in shock. JonJon and Mykia? The fuck type of shit?! I had to call NaNa and Jayla!

"Ima beat JonJon's ass!" NaNa say.
"So wait .. what? How he know for sure?" Jayla said.
"Ima beat JonJon's ass!" NaNa says again.
"He said one of her cousins in there too. She been telling her whole family that it's JonJon's baby."
Marlon had been quiet since they got to my house. He didn't look surprised by anything I was saying to him. Jayla noticed too.
"Marlon. You got nothing to say?"
"I been knew this shit. I heard this nigga slip up and say it one day. I ain't never told him I knew and I ain't tell Dj but I been knew. And they been hella close. But I do know if he set my nigga up, that's his life, on my grandmoms g."
I wanted to confront them so bad. Like why the fuck would Mykia try to ruin my life like this? I've never done anything to this ho. And JonJon was supposed to be his friend. What type of low down shit?
My phone starts to ring and it was Sway. I wonder if Simone ever told her the truth while they was dating.
"Hey bae." She says.
"Wassup?"
"Where are you?"
"At my house with Jay, Marlon and NaNa."
"Oh bet, I'm headed there."
When Sway gets to my house we fill her in on what happened. Just like Marlon she didn't look surprised either.
