Lyric's eyes narrowed, frustration biting at her conscience as she glared at the scrap of paper in her gloved grip. Medina had given it to her with a large smile, although she didn't mention exactly what it was. It was a combination of words and numbers that Lyric didn't understand. She was familiar of the use of secret codes to transfer confidental information, but would Medina really use something like that? If it was something important, why not just tell Lyric outright?

Lyric felt a presence behind her, so she hid the paper scrap in her pocket and whirled around. She met the curious and mismatched eyes of Trinity. Despite her best efforts, Trinity seemed to notice that something was wrong. "What were you looking at?" asked the Necromancer.

Lyric shook her head. "Nothing." She replied, a hiccup escaping her lips seconds later. Lyric forgot: she hiccuped when she lied. It was a strange tic that had been installed into her hardware. She hadn't figured out how to get rid of it. She crossed her fingers behind her back, hoping Trinity wouldn't care.

Trinity grinned and wrapped her arms around Lyric in a tight hug. "Aww, you're just so cute!" She cooed. "I never want to let you go!"

Lyric was used to this kind of affection by now, but she was more alarmed by feeling the scrap of paper being ripped from her pocket. "Gotcha!" Trinity cried triumphantly, holding the scrap close to her face. "Now, let's see..."

After seconds of silently watching Trinity stare at the paper, Lyric raised an eyebrow. "So?" She asked. "What is it? Is it a secret code like I suspected?"

Trinity blinked before bursting into uncontrollable laughter. Lyric stepped back in sudden alarm. "No, Lyric, you silly!" Trinity exclaimed after calming down considerably. "This isn't a 'secret code'! It's Medina's address!"

"'Add-dress'?" Lyric repeated. "What's that?"

"Where someone lives!" Trinity replied. "Look, just Google it and it's bound to pop up somewhere. Then you can go and see her!"

"Okay..." Lyric nodded, taking the note back. "What about you? Will you be okay on your own until I come back? I don't know how long this is going to take."

"Oh, don't worry about me," Trinity shrugged. "I'm heading out, too. I haven't seen my Ratchey-boy yet today!"

Lyric rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine." She muttered. She did as Trinity instructed as used the Internet to research Medina's address. She saved the given directions into her memory and walked for the door. "Just... don't get yourself into any trouble, okay?" Lyric called over her shoulder.

Trinity waved in response, grinning all the while. "Okaaaaaay!" She giggled. "Tell Medina I said hi!"

"I will," Lyric smiled before stepping through the door and out of the house.

A feeling of anxiousness settled itself in Lyric's mind as she arrived at Medina's house. She sighed and stepped up to the front door, raising a clenched fist to knock. The door swung open before she had even touched it. Lyric's dark haired friend stood in the doorway, smiling up at her.

"Lyric!" Medina gasped, grabbing the girl's wrist and dragging her into the house. "You're finally here!"

"Y-Yeah..." Lyric nodded. "I'm sorry I took so long. I didn't know what an- I mean... I've just been busy."

"It's okay." Medina nodded. "At least you're here now."

Lyric nodded in response, but was swiftly distracted by something in the corner of her eye. Her eyes widened as she approached it. "So this is what a normal house looks like...!" Lyric whispered excitedly. She bent down and poked the couch curiously. "What is this...?"
