Perfect Nightmare

Chapter 5

(Colton's POV)

After leaving Jess's dorm we headed to my car. Before I can get in I see Cassie sitting alone. I feel bad for not letting her come with us but then I don't. She yelled at me for being mien, rood, and for being a asshole. That bitch is wrong about me I am nothing like that. OK maybe I can be sometimes but I was trying to be nice to her. That is the last time i try to help someone. then she tells me that she should stay away from me and not Brent. Once she gets to know who and what Brent does she is going to get it.

"That wasn't fair." Jess pouts.

I roll my eyes looking at her then back to the road."i don't care"

She sighs. " she is my roommate what do you expect. She probable hates me now."

Is she going to stop." Not my fault" i say.

"Excuse me not my fault. Yeah right, it is your fault. What if something happens to her. then what" Jess says to me waving her hands.

I am going to push this girl out my car. Then it got me thinking what if something does happen to Cassie. She is hot, some creep can rap her. She can get lost and never find her way.Not my problem.

We finally reached the dinner. Everyone but Matt was there. He is always late to places. I sat next to Lilly and Cam. Jess sat next to Marcuse and Laila. Scott and James were siting on the table next to ours.

"Where is Cassie" James asked.

Jess looked at me then back to James. "she didn't want to come....i asked but he didn't let her."

She did not just blame this one me."what i don't like her."

They all looked at me with anger.

"Where is Matt." i say to avoid the tension.

"Hear I am." Matt comes out of nowhere. We all look at him as he makes his way over to us.

"Where were you." Cam asks.

"I droped Cassie off to her house." he said casually.

I feel angry that he droped her off. She could have asked me to drop her off. I feel like slaming him in a wall.

"why, why didn't you bring her here." Jess asked worried. I looked at him angry.

"Because someone didn't want her here. She wanted to go home so she asked me to drive her" he looks at me.I just roll my eyes.

" Was she mad or sad." Jess asked. She is so annoying. But then i want to know if she is.I can"t stand to see her mad or even sad. What am I saying. Stop Colton you don't feel sorry for her.

" She looked like it." he said.

Its been thirty minutes and i am already bored. The door of the dinner oped and i can see screaming kids walking in. Then i saw Cassie walk in with screaming kids. She avoided eye contact with use and trying her best to stop the kids screaming.

(Cassie's POV)

They all just started walking in the dinner screaming and i can feel people looking at them.I saw Jess and the others looking at me. I avoided eye contact with them especially with Colton. They all sat down and my two cousins started hitting each other. I was trying to stop them.

"If you all stop screaming I will get you ice cream." i say to them.

"you promise CeCe" my little cousin Emma asked.

I nod my head and sit next to her. She hugs me by surprise. The waiter came with the menus and handed one to all of us.

They all ordered their food. I hured soemone making there way to me. I tuen around and see Jess, and James standing infront of me.

"Hey what are you doing her with all of them." James asked.

"I am babysitting them." I say.

"She is not baby sitting us." Jay and his friend say at the same time. James just laughing.

"who mite you two be." James asked Emma and Roxie.

Emma looked at him." My name is Emma. I am seven." she said. James smiled at her.

"My name is Roxie and I am eight."

"he's cute" Emma whispered to me but James hured her.

He chucked and looked at her." your cute too."

"we just came over here to ask if we can sit with you. They can mange themselves." Jess said.

I nodded my head and they sat next to us. Matt and Laila joind us. Soon Colton and Cam joined the table. Why is he sitting with us. He did say to stay away from him and yet he is the one here. We have been siting in silent for about an hour. The kids ate there ice cream. Emi was sleeping in her car seat. That was my qui to leave.

"I think that we should go it's getting late." I say standing up.

"I"ll help." Colton said.Why in the world dose he want to help. We were outside.

"What" I said annoyed.

He chuckles." I can take the others and bring them at your house."

"That's okay. I got it."

"No I got it." He said.

"Fine but don't go anywhere. You have to fallow me." I say and he nods his head."Emma and Roxie your driving with me. You guys drive with Colton"

When Emma, Roxie and I got in the car Roxie said."he's cute." I just smiled.

We finally reached the house, we had to drop off Jay's friend. My parents weren't home yet. Colton parked his car. They all got out running at me to get the key.

"Hear you go you animals." I throw the key at them.

"Stupid little kids." Jay says chucking.

"Hey you used to be a stupid little kid." I say laughing.

We head upstairs. " okay all of you do what you need to do and go to sleep." I ordered them to do.

"Nigh" they all say.

"Good night Colton." Roxie and Emma say kissing him on the cheek.

We leave the hallway in clients. We arriver down stairs.

"What happened in the kitchen."he points out.

"My mom wants to remodel the kitchen."

We sit in the living room. It was awkward. " you can leave if you want, I am going to wait for my parents to come then I am leaving"

"I need to talk to you" he said. "About yesterday I didn't mean to yell at you and call you a bitch."

"You don-" I was cut off by him.

"Let me finish. It was stupid of me to just do that. I get mad easily. I was just trying to be nice but then I got mad when I saw you with him. I am not going to tell you to stay away from him but all I am going to say it to be careful. Brent can do bad things to people. I was one of them. If anything happens just call me." He said that with so much patient.

"You said you will ruin me if I come near you what happened to that." I asked quietly afraid he will go off.

"I didn't mean that. I was mad and I say things sometimes. But I want us to try to be friends"

I was thinking about what he just said. I want to try and be friends with him. I want to be on his good side not his bad. But then I am scared to try and be friends with him. He mite just hurt me. Let me give it a try.

"Fine I want to try and be friends with you too. Is this your way of apologizing " I say there was a grin on his face.

"I should get going but be ready tomorrow we are going to spend a day together as friends."he said getting up and going to the door.

I nodded my head then he was gone. I relized he didn't answar my question.
