Clary's POV
I ran as fast as I can towards the door. "CLARY," Johnathan called from behind me. " HE'S HERE, JOHN," I called back. "SHIT," John and Keta yelled back at me, simultaneously. I soon heard multiple pairs of feet running behind me. I ran towards the Institute doors opening them,"JJ." The little boy ran into my arms as soon as the doors opened. "I wasn't expecting you until next Thursday, little man," I told him. He answered,"I finished my terms earlier. I made it passed my third initiation. The Academy said that within the next few weeks I might be able to get my Rune Ceremony soon." I hugged him laughing at his excitement. "That's good, little man." A throat was cleared behind my back. I turned around with JJ. "Who's this?"
Jace's Pov
"Who's this?" I asked. Clary turned around with a little boy in her arms. He had little boy was wearing black jeans, black boots, a black v-neck t-shirt with a small black vest. Shadowhunter gear. He had red-gold hair that curled at the tips behind his ears. What startled me the most were his eyes. They were two different colors. One was seaweed green and the other was a deep gold. The little boy gasped when he saw the rest of us. He stared at me the longest before turning towards are whispering in her ear. Her smile turned back into a frown as she nodded. The little boy frowned before looking at John and Keta. His frown soon disappeared as he raced towards them, "Uncle John. Uncle Keta." "Hey little man," they said simultaneously again, "Congratulations on the passing at the Academy. Just make sure to hold onto that sword and you will be golden." " I already am." "Gosh if you weren't so much like J-," Keta started before Johnathan stomped on his foot. Meta glared at Johnathan, but quickly stopped when he saw the look Johnathan was going him. His mouth formed an o shape as his eyes quickly darted towards me then back at the little boy.
"Let's go to the library," Clary said, "I have some explaining to do. JJ go follow Uncle John and Uncle Keta to the library. We are going to explain who your father is."
