Clary's POV
That was the worst day of my life, but it was also the best day of my life. It was the worst part because my supposed love of my life cheated on me; it was the best because I found my brother, Jonathan, after I stabbed him in the heart to get rid of Sebastian- the devil side of my brother.
"ADELE, GET YOUR A** DOWN HERE," Johnathan yelled at me. He calls me by m middle name whenever something important is about to happen, even if I am the leader of this group. "COMING," I yelled from my room. Using my super speed I raced downstairs into the library in under two seconds. There stood my group of shadowhunters with enhanced senses and super powers. It is still weird to say that they are mine. I am their leader. As of two years ago, whenever our last leader, Layla, died in a demon attack I had to take over. Only ladies were leaders.
"What is wrong, Jonathan?" I asked my older brother.
"There has been an emergency call from the New York Institute. Their demonic activity is rising higher then ever."
"Well then. Let me see more onto this situation of demonic activity. Hopefully, by tonight I will have who I need to go with me to the New York Institute and who I will need to stay here to take care of any other calls and watch out for the demons in this area." I responded. The nine boys in front of me nodded and walked out of the library heading different directions. Now I need to figure out what I am supposed to do about going back to the New York Institute; where my mom and Luke are, Izzy and Alec, Simon and Magnus, and Jace. By the angel this is going to be a long time of staying with them.
I pulled up the information on the computer in my bedroom. It was not a normal computer, it was a computer that could detect and send anything from mundanes to demonic activities up to angel visitors. When I had all the information I needed I sent a fire message to Maryse and Magnus letting them know that we were coming. "BOYS LIBRARY NOW," I yelled from my bedroom," WE HAVE A LONG TRIP AHEAD OF US"

Hiya peeps. I know I should have said all of this in the Prologue but I was just so excited to get to my next chapter. Ok.
