Luna~Maë POV

It's been 2 months, yeah literally 2 months since Loren and Carson have confirmed that they were dating, I've been avoiding them both for as long as I can, that means going to classes earlier, working on projects more often, hanging out with Hunter, Jacob, Ariel, and Mark. When either of them asked me to hang out with them, I always make up an excuse to blow them off. Then when Loren tries to talk to me, I just push her out of my life.

"Maë you have to talk to them, Loren's your best friend, and Carson, he's your best friend, other half, your first love," Mark exclaims as we were walking to Starbucks.

"Carson wasn't my first love, I didn't even know what love is, it's a strong word and I don't use it unless it's I love food," I explained.

"But he's the first person who actually taught you how to- don't say anything else that's cheesy and probably came out of a movie like, "He was the first guys who taught you how to feel or love!" I mimicked him. Mark just rolls his eyes at me.

"Fine I won't, but I know that you miss him, that you want him back in your life, he makes you happy, and that he's the first one who taught you emotions," Mark says, side hugging me.

"I remembered when we were just teenagers, life made so much sense and there wasn't that much relationship complications," I chuckled.

"Remember the time when we finally met in person?! Best moment of my life!" He smiles, changing the conversation.

"OH I REMEMBER ALRIGHT MARKUS," I laughed. For the rest of the day, Mark and I just caught up with each other, remembering the "old days". Spending the day with him actually made me feel a bit better and helped me forget about Loren and Carson....for an hour till, I spotted them both on what seemed to be a date.

"Maë are you ok? You seem...uneasy," Mark asked, looking at how pale I went. I signaled him at what made me uneasy, then we left.

"You really do miss him don't you?" He asked when we left Starbucks.

"No!" I scoffed.

"Clayton," Mark warned.

"Ok fine, you want the truth?! I still "LOVE" him! That right world, I Luna~Maë Rosë Martin still have feelings for Carson James Lueders!" I exclaimed. After my outburst, I collapsed to the ground, but Mark caught me before I fell.

"Maë are you ok? Should I call an ambulance?" He panicked.

"N-no, I'm perfectly fine, I'm sure about it," I mumbled.

"Are you sure?" Mark asked me, sitting me down on the sidewalk.

"Y-yeah," I said, giving him a weak smile.

"Fine, but just know, we're here for you, no matter what," he said, sincerely.

"Thanks, but I have to get going now," I said.

"Let me take you home at least, I don't need you collapsing then getting hit with a car again," Mark chuckled lightly. He takes me home, we said goodbye and I walked into my apartment.

"Maë can we talk?" Loren asked me.

"Can't, I have a lot of work to do," I said, walking to my room.

"Maë, you haven't spoken to me for 2 WHOLE MONTHS! Tell me what's wrong, please?" She pleaded.

"If only you knew," I mumble before locking my door.

Loren POV

Ok, this has to stop. Maë hasn't talked to me in 2 months, it's obvious that she still likes him. Why did I start this if I sorta knew this was gonna hurt her. I only did it to get her and Carson back together, they are literally miserable without each other. I've seen the way they've looked at each other, even if Maë denies it, she's still in love with him. I've know her since we were 5, it was hard growing up as an only child and having your parents away a lot, so Maë really never knew what feeling were till she met Carson. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true. I whipped out my phone and called him.
