Luna~Maë POV

"NO LOREN, THIS IS MY FINAL DECISION, I don't want to say something I'm gonna regret then hurt someone," I sighed.

"But Maë, what does that mean for us?" Loren whispered.

"We need a break from each other," I said before walking out of our apartment to the über that is waiting outside.

"Maë! What are you doing here?! Did Zach decide to come as well?" Apryll—Mom asked me.

"No, just me, I wanted to stay here for a bit to get away from all the drama..." My voice trailed off, Mom hugged me and brought me inside. She sat on the couch and pat a place for me to sit.

"Now, tell me what's wrong?" She asked.

"It all started off with Carson and I after we broke up," I explained. For the next 2 hours, I just cried in her arms while telling her everything that's happened.

"Maë, I'm so sorry this happened to you, especially with that car crash, I'm sorry I couldn't fly in on time to see you, I got held up at work," Mom said, as she hugged me tighter.

"It's fine, I just can't believe that Loren would even go this far, even Carson," I sighed, laying my head down in her lap.

"Loren just wants to see you happy, ever since you and Carson broke up, she could see that you weren't happy, even if you went out with other guys, we do of all see that no one makes your happier than Carson," Mom explained, brushing my hair back.

"It's not my fault that Carson's never around and that he's a womanizer," I pouted.

"Maë sweetheart, we all make mistakes," she says.

"He's made so many mistakes that I lost count after 345," I mumbled.

"It's obvious that your still into him," Mom chuckled.

"NO!!! NEVER!!! HOW?!" I shouted, quickly sitting up.

"For the past, now 3 hours, you've been talking about Carson, Carson said this, Carson said that, Carson did this, Carson did that, Carson, Carson, Carson, that's how I know you still like him, and mother instincts," Mom said proudly. I blush and cover my face with my knees.

"Fine, I still like him, I'm hurt about what he said, I miss him but I'm not sure if I'm ready," I muffled out.

"Maybe, it's time to get over him, but if you really do love him, go back to him," she said sincerely.

"I don't know if I love him," I said.

"Haven't you both said that you love each other when you were together?" Mom asked in shock.

"Yeah, but when you say you love someone, you really have to mean it, I could say I love you to anyone but not mean it like that. Love is a strong word and I guess I'm afraid to love cause I don't wanna get hurt," I sighed.

"I love you sweetie, and I mean it, just think about it, I support you in any decision you make," Mom said, kissing my head before walked my away. I sat there thinking about what she said. I went live for an hour, got off, then decided to go out to Betty's Boba Tea And Karaoke Bar. I get dressed, grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys, let my mom know I was going out, then walked out the house.
