Luna~Maë POV

I wake up the next morning to feeling a slight chill. I turn around to see no one next to me. That's weird, usually I always wake up to find Carson next to me. He would have told me in advance if he wasn't gonna be here.

"Maybe, it was something last minute," I mumble to myself. I scroll through my phone for s but before deciding to go check on the twins. I look in their room to find the that the both of them aren't there. At this point, I started getting a little worried. I shook it off the the feeling and thought that they might be in the kitchen maybe. I quickly went downstairs and looked in the kitchen to find no one. I then went to check every room, upstairs, downstairs, the backyard, the front, the main floor. I even checked every bathroom and closet for pete sake! At this point, instead of being worried, I was scared and panicking. You would be too were a first time mom and had no idea where your kids were.

"Carson, I swear, if this is another one of your pranks to see my reaction, you better call it off now otherwise," I said. A few seconds pass and I get no response. Pissed, I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.

"Hey- DON'T YOU HEY ME! What kind of a prank are you pulling here?!" I shouted.

"Maë, what are you talking about? After that last one I pulled, I stopped doing those kinds of videos," Carson explained.

"You sure, This morning, I go to Joey and Peyton's room to find them both missing? What do you have to say?" I asked him.

"... I forgot. I KNEW I FORGET SOMETHING!" I heard him shout, silently cursing at himself.

"You forgot what?" I asked him.

"I forgot to tell you that I'm taking the twins with me to the studio today," Carson explained.

"...Just don't scare me like that again,"'I said.

"I promise, sorry if I did," he says.

"It's fine, just stressed out with everything happening lately," I sighed, combing my fingers through my hair.

"I understand, which is why I'm taking the little monkeys with me while you have a stress free day without them," Carson says. In the background, I could here then both making monkey sounds.

"What would I do without you Lueders?" I smiled.

"You'd do absolutely nothing without me Clayton," he chuckled.

"I don't appreciate this cockiness coming from you Blondie," I joked.

"Whatever, I'll make sure I call you later," Carson said.

"Bye," I say before hanging up. I then let out a sigh of relief. I checked the time to see that it's 10:07am and decided that I would get ready for the day before heading over to Loren's house.
