Adrien's POV
As Ember came threw the she fell. I saw the scratches. "Hayes go to my room and grab my machete... Now!" He did as told. "Hayes hold her left arm out. I'm sorry baby sis. I love you... And please don't kill me when you wake up." I lifted my machete up and made contact with her arm. It came clean off. She screamed but blacked out again. Autumn had gauze for her arm and began wrapping it. I looked down and saw blood on my hands.... My baby sister's blood. The one who I always cared for and took care of. I just cut off her left arm and she may never wake up or she'll turn... I couldn't take it I broke down. I started crying and crying, I couldn't stop. I moved Hayes over an picked her up. "Back off Hayes this is MY sister. I take care of her." I nearly growled out. He backed off and sat on the recliner. I moved Ember to the couch and sat down holding her. I stroked her hair and saw Autumn watching me. I know I'm worried about my baby sister but I never noticed how beautiful she was. I was about to say something when Ember grabbed my arm and squeezed... Hard. She was still unconscious and let go quickly. I rubbed her cheek and a tear fell from my eye. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you baby sis... It's my fault I should've went not you. I'm almost 20 and you're only 16 I'm the bigger sibling not you. When mom said this white streak in your hair meant you were brave she sure did mean it... Please wake up little red.. I can't survive this without you. Neither can Hayes, Autumn, or Destiny. We need you. I'm gonna fix you up. I'm gonna give you the best fake arm ever." I chuckled saying that. "Baby sis you're gonna help us survive. You know how to survive this. Dad taught you not me. He taught you archery, karate, kick-boxing, everything. You can cheer heck you're co-captain. You can do anything... Just please wake up. Please." Nothing. Not a single movement or anything. I got up and walked up stairs. I heard a growl.... Mom. I started crying again. I couldn't do this anymore. "Mom I don't know if you can hear me.. but Ember she's hurt she could be dead. But you are too." She came at me and I pushed her back. "I'm sorry mom." I stabbed her head. "ADRIEN! Get down here!" I ran down stairs. "Ember?" "Can't get rid of me that easy can you?" I smiled and ran to her engulfing her in a hug. "I love you big brother." "I love you too little sis." I cried while hugging my baby sister who isn't gonna leave me anytime soon.
