Ember's POV
I see nothing except for black. It was so cold. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" Nothing. I saw something run in front of me. "Hey!" They turned around. "Mom?" "Ember. My sweet daughter. Why are you here?" "Mommy.... I died." "Oh sweetie I know. I'm so sorry. I heard you found your father. How is he?" I sighed I don't know." "Darling... You have a choice you can stay here with me or go back. It's up to you..." "Mom." She looked up at me. "I'm staying."
Hayes's POV
She's gone. My babygirl gone. I ran out the door. I screamed. "WHY! WHY DID YOU TAKE HER FROM ME?!?!" I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Let go!" I growled. It was Jesse. "Calm down man. You're gonna be fine." I scoffed. "Fine? Fine! No. If you thinking am.. maybe it's you who should be dead." I pulled out my pistol and shot straight threw his eye. I awoke with a gasp. Jesse was standing at the window looking out... Alive. I'm going completely insane. I looked at Ember's body. It was still. I walked up to her. "Babygirl please come back to me. I can't do this without you. I'll die if you're not here.... Please come back to me."
Narrator's POV
Hayes had no clue Ember was right behind him listening. As he cried out. "Please come back to me..." Ember touched his arm even though he couldn't feel it and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry, baby." He kept crying. "Please babygirl.." "Bye.." She stood up and walked away.
Ember's Mom's POV
"It is not your time, Ember Rae."
Hayes's POV
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. "Ember?" As the heart monitor kept beeping I smiled and held her hand as tears fell to the ground. Beep. Beep. Beep.
Author's note
Surprise! She is not dead. But wait she's still bit which means she could die. Darnnn. I guess it's up to the writer to decide her fate. Oh yeah me!
