Jaheem found it hard to fall asleep, that feeling of worry kept on sweeping over him, well that and the fact that he was going against everything he believed in by wearing that uniform tomorrow.
It wasn't that he didn't know that the uniform kept dark particles from consuming him, it was the fact that when he was in it he felt prisoned and Alijah knew that, she felt it anytime he put on the damn thing he thought.

"Its raining outside mom" Cassie said as she looked out the bay window of their apartment he mother chuckled as she pulled the yellow hood of the raincoat she was in and buttoned her up

"That's why you wear this, to keep you dry" her mom said and she looked back at her mom and grinned

"Water puddles!" She shouted running ahead of her mom and she chuckled. This side of Cassie was the side of her that to Jaheem made her human. He felt himself at ease

"You did this!" Her father screamed at her and she cringed as she tried to keep the tears from coming

"Don't say that!"

"Every time she was around you she gets sick!, what the hell does that mean huh!" She was about to answer but he stopped her before she could

"No!, it is all your fault, I told her that it was just going to get but she wouldn't leave you at that damn orphanage like I told her to!" He shouted at her and all the pieces started to click. She didn't want to admit it just as much as he didn't maybe even more than he wanted to. What really was he doing.

"She wouldn't want you drinking dad" He said, she seemed older here, as if she gained a 100 years of experience. He sighed as he felt her disappointment in her father

"You don't tell me what she would want or not, you were the one who murdered her" he said and the pings of pain that followed made him realize just how much she blamed herself for it, and him repeating it made it even more so.

"Get some sleep dad" she said turning her back to him and he coughed, looking at her

"Or what you'll kill me too!" He shouted and she sighed closing the door behind her, Jaheem felt it, the strong darkness that was emitting from her almost as strong as his was... There was no way a human could survive around her for too...

The usual feeling multiplied as he tried to put together the new information, he knew both her parents were dead but ... He sighed cutting the thought out of his head and moving to the closet to find the cursed uniform he had to now wear as to not make his sister worry.
Why did that happen though, he knew it wasn't due to too much exposure to the Dark Realm, but it was better they thought that than for them to start poking around and finding stuff he didn't want found.

"Open up" Alijah said knocking on the door and he sighed pulling the lock and walking back to the uniform.

"What's up" he asked as he pulled the package for the uniform not looking at her, immediately he felt the darkness gravitating to it, pulling him separate from the one thing that made him feel like himself

"Why is it so strong?" He asked still not looking at her, she sighed

"You and I both know how strong our darkness is" she said playing with the lose frails of darkness that swirled around me because the suit agitated it, he sighed

"Yeah strong enough to break the chains that keep us to the realm of the light" he muttered and she knew how important that little fact was to him, because of that day.
She sighed and sat in the love seat facing the door, She tried her best to keep the memory at bay for his sake, but it was better, but the feeling that the thought didn't originate from her became stronger and stronger.
