Todd paced back and forth across his office, his mind clouded with plans and memories. He suddenly stopped, looking down at his feet. His shoulders slumped slightly as a few tears rolled out of his eyes and down his bandaged cheeks. He quickly wiped them away once he heard the door open, turning his attention to Parker, his right hand soldier. Parker quickly saluted to Todd, who saluted back, trying to hide the fact he was just crying. He marched up to the taller soldier and put his hand down, looking at him with a cold glare.
"Why are you here?" He asked firmly. Parker looked at him with the same glare.
"I came to tell you, Commander Red, that Red Leader and Blue Leader have decided to call a peace conference in the peace hall. They hope for you to attend." Todd nodded slightly, wondering what the two wanted now.
"Alright, soldier. Lead the way." Parker nodded at Todd and saluted again before putting his hand down again and leading Todd out of his office. One of his other main soldiers, Pave, stood outside of the room, waiting for them. Once the two were out of the office, Parker and Pave led the way to the peace base. Todd hated that it was a distance from his own base and that he had to walk there most of the time. Why couldn't they, at least, have a hallway connecting the base to his base and the other two bases. It would be way easier to get around, Todd thought. He looked at his two main soldiers, who walked in front of him. Both were talking about something Todd didn't pay attention to and were laughing every now and then. Todd sadly smiled. They made an adorable couple, didn't they? Too bad Todd didn't have anyone like that. The red commander tried to keep his straight posture as he followed Pave and Parker down the halls and outside of the base.

Once they were outside, Todd took in a deep breath of air. He looked towards his navy's dock and smiled at the familiar salty smell of the sea. That's why he had made his group the Crimson Navy and not the Crimson Army. He loved the sea ever since he was a little kid and dreamed of being able to sail across the world. He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts by a firm voice bringing him back to earth.
"Commander Red!" Todd jumped about two feet in the aur and flailed his arms about.
   "What?!"
"Sorry, sir, but your ride is here." Todd slowly calmed down as the owner of the voice smiled softly at him: Pave. Todd awkwardly nodded and looked where Pave was pointing and saw Parker starting up his burgundy car. Todd quickly speedwalked towards it and sat in the back, letting Pave sit next to his boyfriend. After a few minutes, they were off. Todd noticed that, for once, they drove instead of walking to the base. He shrugged it off and looked out the window as the sea port slowly faded from his view.
