Chapter 14| Half Naked

We were all outside of Baskin Robins, enjoying our ice cream.

We were having fun talking and laughing telling stories and jokes.

"Ok ok, I've got one." said Candice, and we all payed attention to her. "Why didn't the vampire attack Taylor Swift?"

"Uhh. Because shes too pale?" Ace said unsure.

"No." Candice said.

"Because she has a blank space?" Owen said.

"Nope. It's because she has bad blood."

"Oh my god." Said Ace with a smile, and Candice just laughed.

"That's a good one." Owen said.

"Okay, I've got another joke. Knock knock." Candice said.

"Who's there?" Me, Ace, and Owen said at the same time.

"Britney Spears."

"Britney Spears who?"

"Knock knock." She said once again.

We paused, looking a bit confused. "Uh, who's there?"

"Oops I did it again."

"Oh wow." I said and started to laugh along with the rest.

"Ooo, I have one. Kinda lame, but still funny." Said Owen and we all started to pay attention to him. "Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"Yah."

"Yah who?" Me, Ace, and Candice said.

"Nah bro, I prefer Google." He said and chuckled. We laughed for a moment.

I was really enjoying this night.

We were all driving back to Campus.

We were still telling jokes and funny stories.

Tonight was the best. I got to know LA a little bit more and spent it with my new friends.

Ahh how i'd love it here.

We were all walking back to our dorms.

"Well guys, I had a really fun day. Thanks for showing me a little bit of LA and getting to spend it with you guys. I really appreciate it." I said to all of them, and hugged them individually.

"Awe no problem. Our pleasure." Candice said, with a smile.

"Yup. You can count on us anytime. Whether your feeling lonely or anything, just come to us. And hopefully next time we hang out, we can make it even better." Owen said.

"Awe thanks." I said smiling.

"I agree with Candice and Owen. Specially since I'll always be around if you need me. Given that were roommates anyways." Ace said, with a wink.

I rolled my eyes. "Yea yea."

We all said our goodbyes, promising each other for another time to hangout.

Me and Ace walked back to our dorm together in silence.

I took out my keys, and opened our door to our now Home as I'd like to call it.

"I'm gonna go shower." Ace said, and I nodded.

He went to our room, and I stayed in the living room.

I yawned. Wow, I'm tired.

I waited a minute until I heard the water from the shower start to run.

I walked to the bedroom, and changed into comfortable pajamas. Shorts and a tank top.

I yawned once again, and started to snuggle into my beds covers.

It wasn't until 10 minutes later that I was slowly becoming to actually fall asleep.

At that moment, I heard the showers water stop running.

I pulled my blanket up to my nose, so the only thing you could see was a little bit of my face. Though I also had my blonde hair kind of covering my face. I don't think Ace would tell if I was awake or not based on how my hair blocked my eyes. I could still see, but not much.

A few moments later, Ace came out. He was only wearing dark blue pajama pants with no shirt. Meaning that his upper body was naked and exposed. And oh my gosh how amazing the view was. This was my first time actually seeing him half naked. I wish I could see him more clearly but my hair covering my eyes slightly, stopped me from doing that.

I ran my eyes over his chest. He was lean but muscular. He had abs and his body seemed to be still wet. Meaning that droplets of water were running down his chest. That made him even sexier at the moment. Not that he wasn't all the time. Wait. What am I saying about him? Gosh Maya. I thought.

I saw him look over at me, as he ran a hand over his wet hair. I bit my lip. He couldn't get any sexier could he?

I squinted my eyes so it'd look like they were closed. Though I doubted he was even able to see my eyes through my hair.

Ace said nothing and I took that as him seeing that I was "asleep" so he didn't want to wake me up.

He grabbed his towel and started to dry his hair and chest more. He then went over to his bed, but before laying down under the covers, he turned off his bedside lamb.

With the room now fully dark, I closed my eyes and began to finally drift off to sleep.
