Ellie lunged at me, grabbing my hair and started pulling extremely hard. My hands wrapped around her wrists and tried to pry her hands off. I heard different voices in the background telling.

"Get off of her!" I heard Debbie scream at Ellie. I see a flash of her red hair from my side vision. I feel the weight of Ellie's body off of me. I look up to see Carl holding her back, while Debbie restrained Holly from attacking me, seeing her standing up, her lip bleeding profusely.

Carl throws Ellie off of him and Debbie grabs my hand, pulling me out of the pool.

"Okay that was amazing!" She looked at me brightly.

"That bitch couldn't even throw a punch. All she could do was pull my fucking hair." I laughed. I look over and see Carl rolling towards me and Debbie. Holly and Ellie stormed off to God knows where.

"Come on, Lexi. We're gonna go, and your gonna cool off." Carl says as he reaches us. I sigh and nod, it's probably for the best that I leave. Debbie gives me a short hug.

"I'll see you at the party tonight okay?" I say to Debbie, as Carl pulls me out of the pool gates. She waves goodbye to me.

"So I'm not gonna lie. That was pretty hot." Carl looks up at me from the chair, giving me his infamous smirk. I laugh and roll my eyes.

"I'm glad you think so. That looked like a hot mess." I chuckled looking at him.

A man with longer light brown hair and a bushy goatee comes running up next to Carl. He smells like he just went bathing in a tub of beer. I assume this is his drunk of a father.

"Hey! Whatever happened to childhood." He trails off looking at Carl. He looks at me questioningly. "Who's this?"

"Kevs niece, Lexi. Lexi, this is Frank, my dad."

Frank nods towards me and continues, "these days it's womb to woman"

"What're you doing here?" Carl asks, looking straight ahead.

"Looking for you. I got an important mission, muy importante." Frank says looking down at Carl. "Your lil girlfriend could help you in too."

"We're not dating." Carl and I say both simultaneously, as my face starts to heat up.

"What is it?" Carl says after clearing his throat, a slight blush reddening in his face.

"I need you to run the lesbians out of town." I give Frank a look of questioning.

"All of them?" Carl looked up at Frank confused.

"Nah, just the ones in our hood." Frank shrugs. "They're tearing up our soil! Dropping in flower gardens and yoga studios. Gastropubs and stores for dog clothes. We HAVE to get them out of here." He shudders in disgust.

"What? Why can't you do it?" Carl says looking up at Frank in utter annoyance.

"Because! I have a brewery to run." Frank crosses his arms, standing in front of us. "I'm on my way to the scrap yard for parts right now." He lowers his head down to Carla height in the chair to look him in the eyes.

"You're "not girlfriend" could help you. Come on" Frank grunts, looking over at me.

I roll my eyes at the man, taking out a fresh cigarette since my last one got destroyed and light it up with my light, taking a puff.

Carl shakes his head at his father, "what should i do?"

"Scare tactics, terrorize the intruder. Show 'em what the the hoods really like." Frank smirked at his second youngest son.
