"Elizabeth! You're already running late! We have an hour before the train leaves, and I suggest you look prepared for your first term!" Elizabeth groaned as her father's voice, along with the sent of bacon, drifted up from their small two story house's kitchen and into her room. "Chop, chop! Quickly, quickly! Hogwarts awaits!" he called again. She finally tumbled out of bed and brushed her hair into a perfect bun and applied a bit of makeup. Her sparkling blue eyes stared back at her from the mirror. She grinned and her eyes twinkled back. She new she'd make a splash at Hogwarts considering all the tricks she had managed to shove into her trunk. She threw on some Muggle clothes and tied her sneakers. She grabbed her owl, Edge's, cage, set it on her bed, and smiled at him. "At least I'll have one friend, huh, Edge?" Her owl simply hooted stupidly and banged it's head against the cage. Elizabeth snorted and began to lug her trunk down the stairs. It descended behind her with a few mighty bangs and crashes. Her father raised his eyebrows and shook his head. "With all that racket, you'd think a Muggle elephant is in the house. What a horror!" He smiled at Elizabeth and straightened her shirt and kissed the top of her head, "All ready?" Elizabeth nodded and began to drag her trunk out of the car when she dropped it and sprinted back into the house, "I ALMOST FORGOT EDGE!!!!" She yelled over her shoulder as she raced up the stairs and grabbed his cage. She climbed into the car and her father handed her a small letter and a piece of bacon. "Eat and read. See? I'm already training you for Hogwarts. You are now fully prepared." He then snorted and they both chuckled. As they began to drive around the city, her father struck up a conversation. "Now, Molly and Arthur's two twins, George and Fred, will be in your year also. Please don't try to blow anything up, alright? I'd rather you not be expelled in your first term, alright?" Elizabeth's grinned widened until it looked like it was about to split her face. Her father glanced at her and grimaced, "That smile has got to hurt! You're hurting even ME!" Elizabeth laughed and stared out of her window. She loved her father. She had also loved her mother, even though she had never met her. Her mother had passed away in childbirth, during her brother's birth, and he had died only minutes later, too young and weak to survive the cold, bitter world. Her father had all the best intentions in everything he did for her, even though she couldn't stand discipline. Elizabeth sighed in content as she stared up at the bright blue sky. She couldn't wait. Hogwarts! She was actually going to Hogwarts. When they reached King's Cross Station, they put her things on a cart and entered the station. She gulped as she looked about where some Muggles were staring at her strangely. Her father put a reassuring arm around her shoulder and they ran towards the wall between station 9 and 10. The gateway let them through and they were flung to the other side. Platform 9 and 3/4. She grinned and looked at the enormous black and red train in front of her. The red lettering read "Hogwarts Express." Suddenly two red headed tricksters were beside her.

"Oi! Elizabeth!" shouted one in Elizabeth's ear.

"We knew you'd get here right after us!" said the other, barely quieter.

Elizabeth rubbed her ear and shouted, "You completely bursted my eardrum, the both of you!" She then broke into a grin, "I despise you both, Fred and George." They linked their arms in hers and said, now in a regular voice,

"We know!"

"Molly! How are you!? How's Arthur?" Elizabeth's father asked after giving Molly a quick hug.

"I'm quite well, thank you, Patrick, and Arthur's away on Muggle business as usual." Molly smiled and pushed Ginny and Ron towards him. "Say hello, Ginny, and Ron, dear," she nodded.

Ginny smiled shyly, and said quietly, "Hi." In return she got a little lollipop from Patrick.

Ron's eyes widened and he smiled and said loudly, "Hi Mr. Patrick!" Patrick grinned and handed Ron a lollipop.

Mrs. Weasley smiled and said quietly, "You shouldn't have," Patrick was about to reply when he heard the twins burst into peals of laughter. Elizabeth was whispering dreadful things to a little child, who was almost about to cry, she then produced a lollipop when the poor kid cried and handed it to him.

"Come on now! You haven't got all day, Elizabeth Grace Pure!" her father said. She gathered her trunks and kissed her father on the cheek. "I'll see you at Christmas, father. Don't write too often, alright?" Her father nodded and helped her with her trunks. "Love you, Dad!" she said, and he shouted the same back. She then noticed that George and Fred were still with their mother, who was kissing their cheeks and hugging them, a few tears in her eyes. "Come on, boys! I've already been on the train! Quit lagging!" and with that the twins broke r=from their mothers grasp right when the whistle blew and dragged their trunks onto the train.

"Let's find us a seat," Fred said, looking into all the compartments, most of which were fully occupied.

"Yeah, before we end up with some blubbering, crying mass of hair," George replied pointing to another first year who was crying by herself outside of a compartment. They quickly scooted past her and found a compartment with another girl and boy in it. They weren't talking, so the twins quickly darted in and put their things on the trunk holder. The girl, who was obviously another first year smiled.

"Hi, I'm Angelina!" she said nicely, making room for someone to sit beside her.

"I'm Fred, he's George, and she's Elizabeth," Fred said sitting down beside her. The boy looked up from his book and raised his eyebrows, but spoke up.

"I'm Lee." He said. The twins looked at him and nodded. Suddenly Elizabeth shouted,

"Lee! what's that in your pocket?" She pointed at a piece of gold in his pocket that kept transforming.

"Oh it's just a little trick I found in my mother's closet. It was my older brothers, before he got it taken away." He grinned a bit devilishly. Elizabeth grinned and the twins exchanged glances. They all knew that they would become fast friends in the years to come.
