The next day I woke up late. My mom was yelling at me and pulling the sheets off of me to wake up. I quickly got dressed and put on some makeup. I threw my hair into a random easy style and brushed my teeth. My mom rushed me out the door. I ran to my car and sped off to school.
When I got into the school all you heard was me running down the empty school hallways. I looked at my phone, 10 minutes late. I'm definantly getting detention, shit. I get to the lab room and take a couple of breathes before walking in. The class turns to me and the teacher stops teaching. I turn around and close the door. When I turn around the teacher as walking over to me.
"Your late"
"I know"
"Care to explain why"
"Were you getting busy with someone?" A random kid yells and I roll my eyes.
"I woke up late"
"Oh okay. Detention" I grit my teeth and walk passed the teacher and slump into my desk. I rub the temples of my head and curse silently to myself.
"Kelsey! What would be the answer to this" I groan and take a guess

"Correct, I'm impressed" what the fuck! How did I even? You know what maybe today wont be as bad. I grab a pen and my notebook and scribble down the notes when someone kicks my desk. I know it's cameron because he sits behind me. I turn around and raise my eyebrow.
"What do you want" I whisper
"Grayson changed lab partners" I turn and see some girl is sitting next to me.
"Oh" I whisper and he gets closer to me
"Why did he do that?" I shrug
"Cameron! Would you like to join Kelsey in detention?" The teacher yells and I immediately turn around.
"Actually I wouldn't mind" a little smile comes to my face when he says that. I love my best friend.
"Okay, after school" he chuckles and nods.
After class ended I walked out with Cameron.
"Why would you do that?!" I ask and he shrugs.
"Usually there aren't any teachers in detention so we can talk the whole time" he smiles and I laugh.
"See you later!" He says and jogs off to his next class. I make my way towards mine and I pass by Grayson and Karli making out. She sees me and she stops I try to walk a bit faster but she catches up.
"Stay away from Grayson" she warns and I stop and turn around to face her. I'm so over this whole Grayson thing. I see Grayson staring.
"Am I supposed to be scared?" I ask
"Yeah you are. You don't know what I am capable of" I laugh and she stands there glaring.
"Oh hunny" I lean in and whisper in her ear. "You don't know what I'm capable of either" I back away as she stands there stunned. this is the first time I stood up to this dumb bitch. I smile and wave and walk away.
