A/N: Noooo, we're at the end! I don't want this story to be over! I honestly didn't think that I would get this far when I first writing this book, but now it's over and I'm so happy that I was able to create this story for myself and even for you guys to read. Even though it hasn't reached stardom and gotten millions of reads, that really doesn't matter much to me. I'm just glad that I'm able to five a story to you guys to read, and thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has stuck around to embark on Esther and Jackson's journey with me. I'm so thankful for each and every one of you.
REMEMBER, this doesn't mean that their story is completely over. The special prequel is currently in the works, and hopefully I can be able to share that with you guys soon. :D
Once again, thank you. So much.

“And that is how Mommy and Daddy lived happily ever after.”
“Tell us again, please?”
“Constance Wayne, it is way past your bedtime.” I kissed my daughter's head one last time before tucking her sheets under her chin.
“Love stories are gross.” Our son made a disgusted look with his face. “Dad should tell more stories instead. I like his better.”
“You’ll change your mind, Jasper.” Jackson ruffled his hair and tucked him in. “Just wait a few years.”
I hit Jackson. “I haven’t finished the story yet.”
“Read the last part, Mommy,” Constance wailed. “I wanna hear the last part. It’s my favorite.”
Jackson handed me a well-worn notebook. The one thing that probably kept me sane throughout my whole life. I opened it up and took a deep breath as I read the last entry I would ever put into that diary.
Dear Mom,
Today is a really big day for me. I never thought that this day would come, but it already has and more than anything, I wish you could be here to see it.
I did everything you said. I wrote about my life. It was pretty crappy at the beginning, especially with you gone, but trust me, it got better. It got so much better. Life is wonderful now. It's perfect just the way it is.
Today, I'm getting married. That's a mother's greatest dream for her child, isn't it? Oh, I wish you could meet him, Mom. He's such an amazing person. He has such a kind heart and he is truly a good man. I know that now, and it took one heck of a rollercoaster for me to see that. Stupid, I know, it. But hey, I got a husband out of it.
I know you're watching me. You always have been, somewhere up in the stars. Even though I can't see you anymore, I know that you're there. Thank you for that. Thank you for giving me the strength to move on.
I love you.
I did it, Mom. This one's for you.
I closed the book and kissed each of my kids on the forehead, just as Mom always did when she wished me sweet dreams. “Goodnight, Constance. Goodnight, Jasper.”
“Goodnight, Mommy,” they chorused.
I did it, Mom. This one's for you.
