Episode 12 - Someone To Watch Over Me

Layla's P.O.V

Dear Diary,

Why is this all happening? I just can't believe that Landon is my brother? My boyfriend, who turns out to be my brother? Argh!!!! I kiss my damn brother! Gross! I fell for my brother and even made out with him in my house! On my bed! Da hell is this all happening? and the worse part is.. I still have feelings for him. I've dated him for 2 months now and still in the relationship with him.

I suddenly heard a soft knock on my bedroom door.

" Layla. Open up, honey." It was my aunt.

I got up and opened the door as she saw my sad face. She entered my room as she hugged me tightly.

" What's wrong sweetie? " she asked.

" Is it true?"

"about what?" she asked.

"That I'm adopted?!"

"Who told you that? "

"You know what? It doesn't matter who told me that okay? Just say if it's true or not?"

"Hmm... It's true sweetheart. I'm sorry. They asked me not to tell you."

I just ran up to my room and locked the door behind me. A few hours later, I heard like someone is throwing some little rocks to my window. I got up and saw it was Cameron.

"Hey, Layla! psst!" he said.

"What are you.. what are you doing here?"

"Coming to see you. Can I come up there?"

"Cam, It's too dangerous to climb on this tree. You'll break your neck or something."

"So how am I suppose to go there?"

"I'll open the door okay. meet you downstairs."

I walk down the stairs quietly as I went to unlock and open the front door.

"Would you like to come in? " I asked him.

"Yea. Thanks."

I invited him and close the door. He looked around and told me that I have a beautiful home. I just thanked him.

"So, why are you here exactly? "

"There's something that I have to tell and ask you."

"What's the question? "

"What happened to me before I got into an accident? "

I take a deep sigh~

"It was on Friday night. After school, Landon, you and I decided to hang out at my house. Well, you and I always eat ice creams together since we were little. Of course, your favorite was Double Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream and mine is Mint."

"So on that night, I was running out of ice cream and you offered yourself to go and get some ice cream at the store. You said that you'll be back in 20 minutes."

"I've waited for you. 20 minutes had passed and I'm beginning to get worried. I decided to call you but before I could dial your number, Aaron called sounding shock and asked me if I'm okay. I got blank and asked him why."

"He told me that you got into an accident. I got panic and rushed to the hospital as fast as I could. When I reached there, you were already on the bed. Lying there as I ran to hug you and couldn't stop crying and crying. I wanted to tell you that I love you but it's too late."

"You love me?"
