Episode 16 - Everyone's Waiting

So today I'm going to New York with Christian alone. I'm gonna pretend like Zoe didn't tell me anything. Pretend like it's her birthday today. Or since, I'm in the cab with him right now, I could just ask him.

"Hey, Christian. We're not exactly going to Zoe's birthday party right?"

"Err, no I'm sorry I lied, Today is not her birthday. It's mine," he said.

"Christian, you don't have to lie. You know that right?"

"I know. I'm sorry Layla."

"It's okay. I forgive you. If you don't mind I ask, why didn't you just say it's your birthday?"

"Er.. because I'm scared that you won't go with me. Honestly, I think I like you, Layla."

"You don't have to be scared. You're my friend and you can always ask or talk to me about anything okay? Wow. Do you like me? Why?"

"yes, I like you. Because you're not like most girls. Most girls would throw themselves at me and it's freaking weird. You're special Layla. Any guy would be lucky to have you, sadly it's not me." he said with a sad tone. I feel sorry for him. He's nice and everything but should I give him a chance?

Suddenly I got a text message from Zoe.

Zoe: SO how was the date?

Me: There is no date. It's his birthday today.

Zoe: Oooh... So why didn't he invite me too?

Me: You know what, I'm gonna ask him again.

I turned to Christian again, "Why didn't u invite Zoe to come with us?"

"Because I want just you and me, together. If that is okay," he said with a sad look on his face. I can't look at too many sad faces. I could die.. :3 *so dramatic

"That's okay. So its a date then." I said as I winked at him making him smile.

"A date."

So the date went well and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I wanted to say no but I can't hurt his feelings. I'm his girlfriend now and of course, I miss Cameron too. It has been 2 years since the last time I saw him. I wonder how he is.

I miss Layla so much. I know it has been 2 years but maybe its time to move on. We didn't break up but it felt like it. I'm pretty sure that Layla is dating a guy now just like me dating with Elle. She's very nice, cute and funny just like Layla. Guess now I have to move on. . .

Today is my one month anniversary with Christian but I think he doesn't remember about it.

Hey there my beautiful babe, please meet me now at the rooftop. ;)

Hey, Romeo. I'll see you there. :*

I shoved my books and bag in the locker and slammed it shut. I went upstairs to the rooftop and saw no one.

Suddenly I felt warm big hands wrapped upon my eyes. I held them as I took a feel.

I felt a soft breath whisper near my ear, "Guess?"

I knew it was Christian, so I pretended as I didn't. "Ermm, Harlan?"

"No. Guess again." the soft breath whisper said.

"Jake?"

"Guess again baby," it said again.

"Tuccio?" I said as he let go of his warm touch upon my eyes and turn me around and said, "No. It's Chaz." I laughed and told him that I was only kidding.

We made eye contact and suddenly, his lips meet mine as he wrapped his hands around my waist while I wrapped mine around his neck. Our tongue fight for dominance. We break the kiss, gasping for air as our forehead leans to each other. "I love you," I whispered to him. He made that crook smile of his and said, "I love you too. Happy first month anniversary baby." That made me smile even more because he remembers.
