Dearest,
Love is patient, someone once said. I've been waiting through out High School for the "cute" version of you that would buy me roses and wait by my locker everyday. But that version never came.
But I didn't give up, I waited through Senior Year for the charming version of you that would admit that he has been crushing on me for ages and asks me to prom, dance with me under the stars and give me my first kiss under the rain... but that version too never came. (Dude, I spent prom night at home, eating popcorn and watching Grey's Anatomy! Thanks a lot!)
But I don't blame you for not showing up. I've waited through middle school, High School, College... and I'd wait for a hundred years if I can 'cause love is patient. I'll wait forever because I know that what we will have will be worth it. I know it will be enough.
I like to believe that you're out there, meant to be mine; to be my love, best friend and soul mate. You would play with my hair, and buy me daisies because you would know how much I hate roses. Kiss the side of my neck and whisper in my ears. You'll tell me I'm beautiful and I'd believe it for the first time because I will see the love in your eyes...You'll make me feel loved.
And for God's sake, buy me one of those fluffy teddies on Valentines' Day, will you? I sometimes feel I'll die before getting one of those!
So, here is the thing, you, and all the things I imagined you'd do for me. All the stuff you'd say and the stuff you'd make me feel. You are, always have been and always will be, my dream.
So take days, months, or years if you wish. I've been, am, and always will be waiting patiently for the day we'd meet.
You'll always be on my mind,
Vivienne
Eric sighed, closing the notebook and setting it aside. When he had first spotted the battered notebook, lying there under his favorite table by the window, he had thought it was someone's agenda or something. It definitely didn't look special enough to be someone's diary. And now that he'd read the first page, he had only one question: WHAT'S WRONG WITH WOMEN!?
No offense but this, this..THIS Vivienne writes about "waiting" for the love of her life while in fact, she is probably falling heads over heels for some "Bad Boy" who has six packs and a tendency of being a douche, without even looking twice at the poor guy who actually DOES like her but unfortunately isn't a good looking bloke!
He knew this scenario all too well. Women always fall for the wrong guy and then spend YEARS, no joke, crying about how their broken heart can never be mended. Then, it magically heals again when a cute guy passes them by!
He didn't need to meet this woman, Vivienne, to be sure that she probably let down a lot of guys because "they weren't the one"; which happened to be another of the wily ways of women to say that they weren't attractive / rich / popular enough for her.
Standing up, Eric gathered his stuff, threw the notebook under the table again, deciding that he won't be needing it, and made his way to the cashier.
"What's up, Dean?" he mumbled, reaching for his wallet from his jeans pocket.
"Hey man. You look grumpy!" A twenty-something years old college student said from behind the cashier.
"Anything bugging you today?"
"Women," Eric said making his way to the door.
"Been bugging me since I've first seen them!" he whispered to himself.

Every chapter I write MUST include a letter...so ya ..if you don't find the letter at the beginning DO NOT FREAK OUT...it's probably hiding somewhere in the chapter...
